Residential or business broadband?

I am considering signing up to a business broadband service for my broadband at home. I use broadband for both social and work, and I have been looking at Talk Talk and Plusnet business broadband. The prices seem to be the same for residential and business, and it seems to me that there may be a better customer service if on business.

I can't see the downside of it, and I am wondering if I am missing something. Is the usage similar, are there issues with peak time use if on business? I am currently on TalkTalk Essential and the broadband is a bit slow, and I had some pretty awful customer service when I needed it, but I must say it has not been often.

Any advice is appreciated

  • The difference tends to be service level and customer service with possibly static IP's thrown in other than that its exactly same
