    In what way?

Just the endpoint cut-off of the beam is very flat (the way the range adjustment works I guess) so it was just 'different' In hindsight probably not a negative point (and I hadn't realised how good they are until I drove my other half's new car in the dark last week!)

I bought a Seat Leon FR new but also on 0% and with quite a lot off. Mine is a diesel 2.0. I've been very pleased with it. Drives very well. Agree with the above post about the slow satnav. I also had a service pack for the first 3 services and the first one had no extras and they updated the Satnav without charge or being asked. Would certainly consider another.

    thanks again

retail new is 21600 ish, best offer i have had is 19100 with a seat finance package

quite a few 15 plates around for about 16000, some with a few extras, making them look more appealing than a new one at the mo

In the case of HIDs or LED from halogen, the light is whiter not brighter, however the beam pattern and light spread is more precise, so illumination to the side of the car is much reduced, and the contrast. Around town this is not so evident, but on a dark country lane, you see little or nothing to the sides. Also when coming to corner slowly it is good to have static cornering lighting if you have HIDs.
Led lights will illuminate things that reflect light but stuff in between not so (try an led torch with low batteries).
Halogens are cheapest as they have been around a time, some with older cars complain that the lighting is not so , and will chuck in 'upgraded' bulbs, when it is the lenses that are hazed and all they are doing is increasing the glare. You will notice this often with the boy racers behind that think their headlamps look cool with a bluish tint, but does little to replicate hids
I'm aware of the differences, I was after sparrie2k's own experience of them thanks.

Got a 2.0 150 FR on lease coming to an end soon. Been a good car and would definitely recommend. Small minded me likes the red glowing strip on the driver/passenger door when in sport mode!

Presumably, we can all find out how much we can save on a Leon FR, as well as many other popular car and van models, simply by visiting your website?

Calm down - that's only the list price being quoted; you can find it on lots of web sites.

I'd recommend trying some broker web sites to see not just the list price but also what estimated figures they are quoting, expecting brokers to be a little optimistic but close to what is possible.

Ahhh i wish i seen this thread before.

If the vehicle is fully under warranty, all is good but the 1.4 TSI engines are really soft. If you make it to 75k in them without spending a small fortune, you're doing really well.

They like to eat oil now and then.

My friends father's one had went through two engines by 25k but i'm on a few Seat / VW type forums and there are posts littered with similar stories.

I'm not sure if it only effects certain TSI engines or not but most of the ones i read about were from Ibiza Cupras with the DSG gearbox and my friend's dad's car was a VW Scirocco.

I see it seems to affect some others as well
