Orange 30 free text!

As per Martins article re Orange customers "Orange customers: Anyone on Orange, or who has an Orange Sim, gets 30 free texts a month via the orange website."

I have been onto the website but cannot find anywhere re the free 30 free text, I have followed the initial links that take me to the orange site but then there is nothing there. I have been into my account & thereis nothing there. I have even rang 453 to check my balance of text & money but the text are not there.

Can anyone assist please

Just send a text message to 1122 with the word "text" to get 30 free text messages

Go to https://services.orange.co.uk/sam/templates/web/sign_in.htm Assuming that you have already registered your account, just sign in there and you can send texts right away from your PC. Not from your phone.

Would this be ok if you are using Text Saver where you get 5 free texts a day? Does anyone know if it will have a negative effect on that?

It shouldnt effect it as its not changing the plan its just a promo offer

I texted the word "text" to 1122 last night from my Orange PAYG. No reply received to say I have 30 free texts. How do I know I have 30 free texts? I'm guessing the offer's expired.

I think because it is set up through the PC, sending a message to 1122 will make no difference, you cannot use the free messages through your mobile phone, it has to be via the PC.

I do think the wording of the message is slightly giving people the wrong impression but I am lucky I can use it through the PC.

Thanks for your wonderful reply, I think the message on Martins site is a little ambiguious (cant spell!) but then thats what wonderful forums like this are for.
