Doh.......... just got a little too complacent for a moment!!!
Which in turn means my would be negligible overdraft this month will now be £150, with little opportunity to cut back before the end of the month, could kick myself for not being stronger/stricter with that naughty inner voice that tells me 'oh go on, it won't hurt'
On the up side, I'm trying to get the hang of a daily chores list (courtesy of the fly lady thread) rather than saving it all up and I have made a start on clearing some of the 'eb@y' cupboards - as usual took far more time than expected what with also sorting paperwork at the same time, so far one bag destined for the charity shop and over the weekend only one item sold on Eb@y (as in all honesty barely anything listed) for £3.50!, well making my fortune has to start somewhere I guess☺
Eb@y sales - £3.50
House pot - £0

Oh my days where has the time gone - one second it was April, I blinked and then it was July!!!
Anyway - time to get back to keeping track!
So quick round up of where I currently find myself!!!
Loan has finished and thanks to overtime shift payments (courtesy of DH) and a share scheme payout and work bonus (exceptionally unusual but very grateful all the same) we've managed to pretty much clear everything - 1 x credit card still has £180 outstanding and Nxt catalogue has £200 left to pay - such a relief in so many ways but a bit like losing weight it's now the 'maintenance' time and that is something I really struggle with (making ends meet)
Also the overtime shifts that were making life mucho easier have now stopped indefinitely so we're back to square one in that respect.
Once all bill payments have been subtracted I'm currently budgeting £250 per week for all other spends (petrol, food shopping and everything else (kids expenses/clothes, birthdays, school trips/costs, & cash to name but a few) - to me it sounds like a lot but I've realized it doesn't go as far as I'd hoped!)
If I can stick with the £250 (per week or so depending on the length of the month - total £1000 to spend from one payday to the next) then we have £300 left over to save.
Weight loss has been gain rather than loss - stone and a half on over the last 6 months - Eek!! - really could kick myself and feeling rubbish about it.
predicted overdraft this month £25 if I can stick to my budget!!
