Thomson cruise

Just checked prices Thomson Discovery 14nights Caribbean inside cabin - £3495 whilst P&O Britannia (Saver Fare) is only £2538 for the same 14 nights inside cabin in Jan 2017.
You are paying £900 for that drinks package - rather expensive.
Britannia is a new ship with all the mod cons and the toilets and air con are unlikely to breakdown unlike Thomson which are renown for problems. The choice is a no brainer !0 -
Just looked at P&O website and the same cruise and balcony cabin flying from Birmingham is £400 more expensive than the Thomson cruise. Flying from Gatwick is cheaper but we're not prepared to do that. As I said in the previous post, I am quite satisfied with what we are getting from Thomson, and the price includes all the drinks. Cruise critic reviews seem roughly similar. However, I like the look of P&O as well and would always consider them in future cruise plans. My brother and SIL have never had problems with Thomson cruise ships by the way. The Discovery has had very good reviews as its previous time as the Splendour of the Seas. Anyway, time will tell, as they say.0

Only a problem if you don't like 'Europeans' I suppose (aren't we British also Europeans?)
Anyways... personally I quite enjoy meeting and chatting to people from different places and cultures and as English is the first language most other European countries learn after their native tongue we had no issues with people not understnding us.
Hope this helps OP :j0
