Can I cancel a holiday and get deposit back? Not booked it Saturday

I booked an holiday abroad on Saturday with Thomson and paid a deposit of £400 can I get the deposit back ? I have had nothing but problems with the insurance due to husbands underline health issues anyone any ideas ?:(

That's good news. Perhaps those on the Insurance board could help you with advice about holiday insurance.
