Pay in Cheque online/via app? (Santander)

Anyone know if you can pay in cheques to a Santander account online or via a mobile app?
Just read about it and realised I was on the .com Santander site....
so assume it may just be available in America....
Would save me having to drive into town and pay for parking....

Why not pay in by post, or alternatively, you can pay in at your post office. They have special envelopes for the majority of banks for the purpose. I haven't been in a branch for years, I always pay in one or other of these ways.1 -
'in Force by May 2015'.....
They seem to be being a bit slow.... I don't think it exists with Santander in the UK yet from further research....
oh well - Post office it is.....This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

If it's anything like Barclays system then it is a waste of time, never uploads and can't seem to get the figures you enter to be seen by the image software to match.
Don't even bother now

Barclays are running a pilot, for the purposes of ironing out problems and testing various approaches. As per the Barclays website, they don't expect a stable version and industry-wide roll-out until October 2017 at the earliest. You shouldn't be partaking in a pilot if you expect perfection http://www.barclays.co.uk/MobileBankingservices/FutureOfCheques/P12426689895190

I don't see how Barclays can do this yet when your other link states that the legislation to enable it doesn't come into force until July 31st this year.
Why do you think Barclays would offer a Pilot if they didn't have the Treasury's blessing for the Pilot?
For clarity: I am not part of the Pilot as I don't use cheques myself, and as I am not a Barclays customer. I can still know what's happening.0 -

Just because you don't see how doesn't mean they aren't !The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -
My argument is not that Barclays are doing it, rather the legal basis for doing so. I wasn't aware that the Treasury have the ability to override the law, but maybe they can.0
