    Morning all!

    Not caught up on the weekend's thread so hope you all had a good weekend.

    I had a relatively spend free weekend - well other than booking a holiday! Went to a friends baby shower on Saturday which was paid for in advance and then dinner at my parents yesterday - annoyingly my brother's family cancelled and I had made a special cheesecake but it was well received by my parents!

    Today I have/will:-
    * Check banks
    * Cut up and freeze pepper that was lingering in fridge
    * Use free moisturiser
    * Take lunch to work
    * Take shopping bags to work
    * Switch mortgage as fixed rate finished
    * Check FPL
    * Write shopping list
    * Shop to list at lunch
    * Finish writing letter at work so can print and "womble" a stamp!
    * Speak to builders to see if any buy the sun so I can nab the holiday token!
    * Update spreadsheet
    * Make pizza bases for dinner
    * Dinner from stores
    * Collect prescription
    * Sort out drawer in bedroom as I'm taking inspiration from here and sorting out free but annoying jobs!

    Think that's everything for now! Hope you all have a good day.

    Had meeting with a bank re moving accounts. Have to go back on the 8th of Feb!! Oh well.
    OH has received his paper work from SC, hoorraahh :T
    All meals this week as ever will come from the shop we did at the weekend.
    And I have applied for another part time job. Need one soon just to keep me sane.

    Off back to bed now. Have a lovely day people. See you all tomorrow.

    Money scares me.:eek:

    Today I will/have,

    Cash some shrapnel I have in my box and make payment towards something with it

  • Morning all!

    I've been having trouble sleeping too recently - I'm like a zombie again today after a night tossing and turning :(

    For me, it can't be a NSD as I was at a £2 baby group this morning (with lots of snacks and brews included :p) and I need to get some bread as DS1 seems to have eaten most of a load this weekend :eek:

    Nothing too exciting otherwise for me. Check the bank and my ebay sales. Go and collect DS1 from school (can't wait for that 35 mile round trip to be over and done with in June!!) and get the house looking a bit tidier. Breakfast/Lunch and Dinner all from stores :T

  • Evening all, from smog-central! Weather's about -5 and breezy so the PM2.5 is back down into double digits for a change.

    Today, like yesterday, I have done very little DFW. I did get tickets home (well, in-laws) for spring festival in a month, and had some spectacular food and one or three beverages of the fermented variety yesterday, and far too much caffeine today, so I'll be joining you all in interrupted-sleep land.

    So today's tasks (completed):
    :) Round-robin of all bank accounts plus bi-monthly credit check (not for credit but to check I've not had my ID snarfed)
    :) Discovered that KMyMoney handles foreign currency accounts really well.
    :) Holiday form and allowance form done

    um...

    :( Bit spendy this week. And probably the next and the one after. Oh well, let the game of pots commence...
