Same happened to me. My son saved and ordered from ic3board. Nothing received no response from contact sheets filled in on website. I paid by credit card. Hoping that they can help me.

Tell them (the credit card company) that you want to make a claim under section 75 of the consumer credit act.

Under the act, if there is a debtor > creditor > supplier agreement (ie you didn't pay via paypal) and the goods purchased were over £100 (even if you only part paid by credit card) then the card company are jointly and severally liable for the performance of the contract.

However be warned, if you make the payment by credit card via paypal, it can break the required chain (as it then goes debtor > creditor > paypal > supplier). Don't know if it applies in this instance but handy to know for future purchases.

  • hi i got swegway from ihover in manchester

I would strongly advise anyone thinking of buying a swegway not to buy from ihover in Manchester.

    Why?
Well, it says a lot about a company when they have to resort to posting on forums in order to entice customers and it says even more when the company director doesn't even bother to change their name before posting.

    LOL epic fail!

    Why are they illegal
  • I've seen a few of these "hoverboards" being used in my local town centre but provided that it's only young kids riding them and not teenagers trying to show off then I don't have a problem with them.
IMO, when used with a bit of consideration these things aren't really any more dangerous to other people than a kid on a push along scooter would be.
