  • Tired. Been so busy at work and I am really feeling it, must be getting old.

Sorry to hear your news Jazee, how awful.

Have blitzed DS2s bedroom today but didnt get it completely finished. At the moment I am making soup and redoing one of my gel nails that has chipped. Multi-tasking at its best.

Ready to sit down and chill, quite tempted by the idea of a sneaky glass of wine and a few Christmas chocs.
  • Evening all,

Not much to report flying wise, paid stuff done, picked dd2 from school, helped her with homework, Back to school to get dd1 from the taekwondo she is trying out, then off to give blood, they were running behind so it took ages, now I feel bleurgh, and I don't usually after giving blood. Arm also hurting, so nothing more getting done tonight. Am taking it steady.

mumof2 hope all goes well tomorrow, and you get something good from it.

lw glad injection went as well as these things can.

    cy hope you OK x

iona take it easy, you sound like you are overdoing it x

    Evening

Took DS out to football now we've all gone to bed - DD with a flea in her ear about staying there! I'm so tired my eyes hurt - she was up 3 times last night wandering around asking where I am (in bed! Where she should have been!).

So I'm having an early night with all digital media off by 9pm.

Day at home tomorrow, will sort beds and maybe tidy the garage - oh but it's cold in there.... Brrr will have to put the heater on. Or my coat, lol. Also need a plan for DS party. His training kit arrived today, and I asked if he wanted spending money and a shopping trip - he said yes. So maybe just a small gift from DD for something to open.

Right, I'm off for a browse before I nod off.

Good luck for tomorrow, mumof2 xx

    Evening all!

Jazee - so sorry to hear your news; hugs to all the family x

CY - thinking of you x

Mumof2 - Hope all goes well tomorrow; you are sounding very strong x

BD is here with a vengeance this week - got to work on Monday in pieces after an anxiety / panicky episode so got sent home. Not been in since. Thankfully, the Head is really understanding. Feeling better now but still not quite right - debating going in tomorrow or leaving it till after the weekend ............

I did vacuum the front room this morning so, of course, two of the ratties have just had a 'who's going to be in charge of this cage?' stand off resulting in food and shredded paper flying everywhere! Love them all really!!

Also made it to SW this evening (first time out since Monday :o) and have decluttered 10lb so that's boosted me a bit!

Echoes 'me too' to both. It was snowing as I set off for uni, although it didn't settle. Saw one student. Finished yesterday's assessment as it was too much for the lad to do at once, poor thing had about 3 different conditions plus MH issues and the authorities had lost a lot of his paperwork. Did another assessment. Saw another student. By this time I was exhausted - don't know why I had a bad night, but only got a few hours sleep. Proved it by taking a wrong turning on the way home and suddenly found I didn't recognise anything. Mr N had cooked, we've watched a couple of recorded progs and now I'm going to bed. Me, the night owl.

There's sadly a lot of it around Jazee; tomorrow my niece's son who I think I have mentioned before, has an operation for a brain tumour. He's 14.

Hope all goes well for those of you having meetings tomorrow.

  • Good evening

Just had a quick read through the thread and sending out lots and lots of hugs xx

Yesterday I managed to complete the list with extras, today not so good! DH was off work and I don't tend to get a lot done when he's home as he gets under my feet so I only managed to strip and remake the bed, although I did get a load in the WM and the DW too. We also walked 3 miles with the dog, which was nice to do together as I normally walk him alone.

We are forecast some cold/bad weather tonight so all the kids have their blankets out, also had an offer from my next door neighbour to let him know if we need anything as he knows we are housebound if the weather gets bad due to DS being disabled which I thought was lovely of him :)

Top of my priority list tomorrow is to pay off my credit card - another debt cleared, wiped and never to return again! Also on the list is to have a good clear out of DS's bedroom, he seems to have had a growth spurt so has a lot of outgrown clothes for the charity shop and even more outgrown toys to be donated too. He's aware it's being done and that if he can't get to school he will be helping me :rotfl:

I hope everyone has a good evening xx
