Mumof2 I definitely think moving into house is a good idea. Even if it doesn't end up being long term it might be the shock he needs.
CY glad you got an appt
Pigpen joining you in a cuppa.
Thanks for all the good wishes everyone. Unfortunately the news wasn't great and it looks like my job will go as although there are jobs to be had none will fit with school hours etc. And will end up costing me too much in childcare. Sad face here. I have my second job but that is casual so can't be relied on.
Trying to motivate self but think I will just sit n do some knitting before school run instead0 -

I said I just want an acknowledgment it was not right what they did or how the member of staff behaved.. I didn't really want her ugly mug on a platter.. but I also wanted to know what the situation was perceived as from her point of view because I am fully aware I only got one side and it didn't look good.

Hi, first post this week but I have been flying - trying to chuck out some rubbish and getting there. Trouble is when you work on things that will help in the long term, all the normal stuff like washing up doesn't get done! Mum of 2 I guess maybe a halfway house may be to keep the house and let out for short periods?0

Well done! What I try to do is to do what I have to do and then if decluttering set my mobile timer for, say, 15 minutes and do what I can within that time so I don't ignore the stuff that is screaming at me to be done.
As for the house, yes a short term let is another option - don't think February is a great time to
buy a house.Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -
Mumof2. It sounds to me like a little plan is coming together. Trust your instincts and do what you feel is right for you.
Well done on getting the appointment CY. Lets hope it sets your mind at rest.
I am panicking slightly. DS1 just texted me to say he is coming home early from his voluntary job - he gets dropped off at a petrol station in the middle of nowhere and I meet him there. I have to take DS2 to his new job trial at 4pm and I have a horrible feeling things are going to go very pear shaped. Have just texted DH to see if he can help if I need him. I hate living here sometimes!
But the bathroom is done and the study is OKish, have just swished with the duster and polish. Tea in slow cooker, towels out on the line. I have gym class tonight and DH has footie practice.
Oh and glad the first night at college went well Bossy.0 -
Posivibes for Mumof2, CY, Piggers and Dusty. I feel you could all use them. And for anyone else in need of them, of course.
Dilemma-time here: I have to visit Dr S tomorrow, and get a steroid injection. I can only have one per visit. Do I opt for my left wrist (dominant hand), thereby getting back more useful function, or my right wrist (the more painful) thereby alleviating more pain? Not by any means a big deal compared to the carp some Flyfriends are enduring, but I can't make up my mind; and Dr S will leave the choice to me.
Flying-wise I've washed three tops and done a once-over with the duster-onna-stick, so showing willing at least.
Think I'll take up Piggers' offer of a cuppa, my mouth's as dry as a bone (bluddy Sjogrens strikes again). If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
