If we vote for Brexit what happens

I bet there will be a post later by Glasgowdan with my comments modified to suit him....oh well.
More families are pushed into poverty by high rents, high house prices and benefit cap. The brexit slowdown would be a good thing to take pressure off low income families for a while. Mortgage owners have been stress tested and should be able to handle it.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I've worked in IT for 26 years and was probably somewhat negative because for the last 16 years I worked for a company that was gradually offshoring to India (now they are telling their Bangalore staff that they are more expensive than Kolkatta).
Myself and a lot of my colleagues got made redundant end of last year or this year. Mosy have had no trouble at all finding jobs there seem to be loads (this includes bristol/Swindon as well as just London). Its certainly way better than 2013 when my partner was looking.
The only 2 people I know who haven't found jobs are a divisional manager (always tricky when you're a bit higher up the greasy pole) and a technical author but I have no idea how fussy those individuals are being or how hard they are trying.
Every one else has taken a good job of their choosing and no one has complained about money.
I get a lot of agents contacting me and I'm still trying to unsubscribe 5 months on.
The company I work for us private and is not interested in off shoring (I made sure I asked that).
I dont know what happening generally with offshoring but an IT person should have no trouble finding a job unless they have very out of date or niche skills.
The IT industry seems to be in very good health in the UK.0 -

Get a grip, there is no child poverty in the UK. Simply parents who misappropriate the income they receive.0 -

The benefit cap is set at the equivalent of £34,000 pre-tax income. That is not poverty.0 -

I had a mate who had the same attitude as you. We laughed at him when he lost everything after the last crisis. He was so out of touch....
You laughed at a "mate" for losing everything?! To quote your own post - nice.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.

There are a couple of people on here who are getting down right nasty to other posters if they don't agree with what they are trying to preach....
To claim one poster has a drug problem is just out of order and they ought to be banned from the forums as they really arent adding anything useful.0 -

I think the claim was made about a city, not a particular poster, but people going La La La no price drops will ever happen "round my way" is just as useless to the discussion as people getting overly personal and worked up IMO.0 -

No it's not useless. It's an opposing view to yours, backed up with examples. You need to accept you're way isn't the only way.0
