Hi All

Got a new S6, but not sure how to transfer my phone numbers and calender over. Foto transfer too, but not so important.

The link that was displayed on set up of S6 says my S2 not compatible with their transfer.

I've downloaded Kies Air...and thats confusing too.

Before I go any further...HELP!!!

Thanks in advance.

VB

Synch S2 with your google account if it's not synched yet.
    Then synch S6 with google.

    It's in Settings >> Accounts & sinc.
Make sure the phone is connected to wifi.

Have you ever accessed your google account via a PC? Are there any contacts there? Calendar? If synchronisation is on, all information has to be the same as in your phone.

OP check that you've not got anything stopping your S2 from sharing data. When I wanted to transfer data from one phone handset to the other, nothing would work despite the phones realising each were there (they'd give an error tone though).
When I went into the setting to look through everything I had things set to not share any data and had to add the new handset to the "safe" list before it would do anything.
