yes I know , but it was into a request "are ATA boards still available new"

POPpellerant , thanks for that 2.5 drive link , I needed a cheap drive for a job

It may be unused but it's not really new, there are other old motherboards that can be bought 'new' with IDE as industrial and other stuff is often well out of date but the problem is the socket, ram and other hardware features are also well out of date as well.

yes the wording was "available" , and lo and behold , available from amazon.

I think we can clearly say that a ATA board with a modern chipset and CPU/memory configuration is not available at your local PC world

Plenty of similar motherboards are available though, you can still buy 'new' Pentium3 boards if that's what you need but as the OP wanted to build a PC now a motherboard that is almost obsolete in every way is unlikely to be of any use particularly as the one you linked to was the wrong form factor.

that case take 3.5" not 2.5"

Also it only have 1 sata at psu, according to scan. You will need a adaptor if you want to hook a optical drive.
2.5" SATA drives can be very easily connected to a desktop motherboard and power supply without adaptors, unless the PSU doesn't have enough connectors.
