He wants ITX tho and well you can buy a ITX board and a few SATA drives for the price of an extremely dated motherboard.
You wont find a ITX with a IDE connecters.
Honestly given the age of the drive and the fact is also probably from an era where drive warranties were not great, I would wipe it any throw it away esp when you can get a new 1tb drive for £40 or so.0 -
So your going to build a new PC and then cripple it's performance with an old/slow HDD? 1TB drives are easily available for sub £50.....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

As most have said an IDE to SATA adaptor will probably cost a good chunk of the price of a new drive.
They are also reasonably bulky from memory, which if you're making a small machine can lead to issues in the case.
Most motherboards dropped IDE interfaces a few years back as a "standard" part, so it tends to be on a handful of models now as an added feature, although I can't remember seeing any new boards with it for a while.0 -

I would completely forget the idea of using an antiquated drive with a modern motherboard - you're only going to cause yourself headaches for the sake of pounds and pennies.
You can buy a 320GB Toshiba harddrive from Amazon for only £24.0 -

that case take 3.5" not 2.5"
Also it only have 1 sata at psu, according to scan. You will need a adaptor if you want to hook a optical drive.0 -

That's just a very, very old motherboard though (nearly a decade old according to the description), the CPU socket and the features (AGP, USB2 etc.) are all badly out of date.
