Formatting SD card

hence the reason for me suggesting to run H2testw on the card once formatted with the correct format tool.


at this point I think the OP should now run it on the working card

I had a similar problem and used http://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html

It let me wipe the SD card and start again.

Make sure you understand how it it works before you use it.

Either a fake card like others say. A lot sold online which are never the size they're supposed to be. If genuine, it may simply be locked. This is a little switch on the side.

There is no switch on a micro SD card, and when put into the adaptor it makes no difference where the switch is, as per posts #6 & #7.

Just scanned this quickly - did I miss the bit where OP has specifically confirmed that he is using an SD *XC* reader? It won't work on less.

It didnt work in a device that supported 64GB, I think it maybe fake or faulty.

Ordered from Amazon but did Amazon sell it or a 3rd party? Did i miss that bit?
