Sound Bar for LG TV.

My LG TV ( model 27MA43D) does not seem to have any out sockets only In sockets . I know this sounds daft but is there any way to connect a sound bar to it ?

Can you connect it via the HDMI socket. Like this one? http://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00045743/997432529/
(you can attach a multiple hdmi "splitter" to the HDMI port.

Or if it has headphone socket you can connect PC speakers, if all else fails. I am assuming the built in sound is insufficient for your needs.

As littlerock correctly states above, in order to use a sound bar your only option is a soundbar with an hdmi input.

The manual available here: http://www.lg.com/uk/support-product/lg-27MA43D is none-too-helpful, but the RS website clearly states that your TV is ARC-capable which supports the hdmi setup.

Being honest here, you would probably be cheaper in the long run buying a new TV and soundbar to suit than sourcing an hdmi-equipped soundbar, and that's without considering a splitter if you already have something connected to your hdmi.

Alternatively, the OP could simply make do with the sound produced by the TV's own speakers. This is a money-saving site after all.;)
