    Hi all,

Just wanted to update here. The original dealers said its not something they could do, and I decided to walk away as the specific vehicle I wanted would take 4-6 weeks, just no good to me, and some of the offers they'd told me about a few days ago had mysteriously changed for the worse.

The next garage said they would in fact offer this service if required - so definitely worth asking if you find yourself in this position.

However...I've not had to take them up on it. They found me a nearly new model, the exact engine and colour I wanted and a higher spec. Just under 5k off new price. Need to view and drive on Monday but seems like a goer.

Now to decide how to finance!

That's the MSE way to do it!

We had this twice now with Audi Lincoln. They were quite happy to lend us a car as it meant that they could have our old car on their forecourt! Both times we were trading in an Audi A1, first time they loaned us an A7, second time an A3.
