Can I cancel due to poor 3G/4G signal?

Hi
I have had trouble with connecting to 3G/4G on Vodafone at home and work for the last 6 months. By trouble I mean no connection. I have contacted Vodafone and they have confirmed that both areas have poor signal despite their website saying both areas have full cover outdoors and in for 2G/3G/4G. They have told me that they will refund me for the time I was without 4G at these areas up until the time it is restored but there is no date on when this is likely to be resolved. As Vodafone are clearly not providing me with all the services I am paying for I would like to be able to cancel without charge and find a provider that can cover me at these areas. I have asked Vodafone this question several times but no one can give me a definitive answer. Does anyone have experience of this? When I took the contract out the signal was perfect at both locations for about 2 months.

You sound to have a good chance of cancelling the contract as Vodafone are failing to provide a service, you would have to get them to agree first though. I have no experience of Vodafone so have no idea how easy they are to deal with,
We have a 30 day "SIM only" rolling contract on our phones, so can change networks fairly easily if coverage changes.0 -
That is what I would like to do going forward. It's been very difficult to get Vodafone to say one way or the other so far. Not really any different from the rest of the dealings I have had with them to be honest!0
