Quaker Warm & Crunchy Oat Clusters - Golden Crunch (8 per pack - 384g)£2.00 50p I doubt it as this is some time ago now.

See what I mean? I had a full note on this on the M list last week about my problems as I had not found this in any of my nearby Ms for three weeks. I then changed it to the above, doubting it even more, as I still did not see them on Monday.

And guess what... today, I randomly have it - stock and 50p SEL - in one of the Ms that I happen to have checked! If I were the price collectors and I was in the store that I was in today, then I would have picked the 50p price for the product up. However, don't get too excited - as they are most unlikely to have been in the store I have now have it in and I think this is one of those 50p Maryland Cookies situations in which I had the SEL in one, then two (the second with stock), but not my other, Ms. I think this is random - and it could be that my M with it today was the only M out of 50 Ms that you could have picked that has the 50p SEL for it today. Had you visited up to 49 of your random Ms, but not the one store I have with it, you would have been N/A. Then again, it could be available more widely (although I doubt it given that it is some weeks after it first appeared for me). I had it five and four weeks ago, from a different store each time, at 50p, then nothing at all for the last three weeks and then back only today. The APG could have had nothing five/four weeks ago, then had it for the last three weeks and then not have it from today!

It depends almost entirely on the stores they happen to check and what happens to be showing in them. I say "almost" - there is the possibility of them not picking things up in error or of making errors and picking up an incorrect price - maybe a price on a different product - instead. They could do that on any product at any time, in error. For example, the 2L Domestos offer months ago where, on one occasion, they picked up the own brand price instead - which was a higher price. Anything could happen. It is likely that they will get a correct price from a correct product if it is available in at least one M they check. They are more likely to do so if it is in several of their Ms and because this provides further check for the price obtained from another. However, I can't exclude the possibility of errors or the several M stores that randomly display full prices on items that are on offer or which have unchanged SELs and incorrect prices (whether higher or lower than the correct price) showing.

On the Quaker Warm & Crunchy Golden Crunch, it is right to know the history of this with me - however it is only this way because of the stores I happen to have visited and is based purely on my random selection. I could have had a completely different situation had I lived in a different part of the country or visited different Ms from the ones I happened to visit!

I first found this item at 50p as a 'Reduced to clear' in a couple of my wide selection of stores as part of one of my tours. It turned up in a store near Birmingham and I think I found it also in another store, but then I had visited far more than the APG collectors use in total. It then turned up, the next week, in one of my regular stores (it had not been there on any of my previous checks). However, by the following week, it was gone. I had not seen it since - and not seen it on my tours (but then again I had not visited as many stores and did not revisit the stores in which I originally found it). Nonetheless, I kept it on my list, albeit with my note back then that it was no longer in my stores but that it probably was available in M elsewhere. I now know, from my own experience, that items may well continue to be available in M stores even though they are no longer available or indicated anywhere in any of mine.

I had a Quaker Warm & Crunchy offer in my first regular store that was running when the Golden Crunch version had completely gone from that store. The offer was a high price and Any 2 for £3! I was therefore aware that other Quaker Warm & Crunchys were on that mbuy offer in M. However, I checked and the Golden Crunch product was nowhere to be seen (in my regular store) so I imagined that, clearly, it has not moved into that mbuy offer - it's not in the store, not in that offer, and, therefore, it's quite likely it exists somewhere else and is at 50p!

I've been surmising that it's still 50p and available in some other Ms far away from me ever since, although, every week, I have been becoming more "it's less and less likely" - each week that goes by, it's likely, I felt, to have gone from more M stores - three weeks ago, when it first vanished from my first regular store, I thought it's very likely indeed to be elsewhere. A week later, I thought it's still probably going to be available elsewhere. The next week, I felt, oh, it's not as likely that it's going to be elsewhere now - it might be, but I'm in doubt. On Monday, I felt it's going to be very unlikely now.

And today... it now turns up - but not in my first regular store, instead it is now in my second store - a store where I have not seen it before!

It's there - and I'll now remove my latest note (which is not in the form it was originally) - and, although I'd never crossed it off - in the olden days I would have done so - I will almost reinstate it with vigour - definitely available, definitely in my store! (One out of three of them today anyway.) However, products seem to appear at random times in random stores - I feel I now have it (which I do) but that the APG collectors probably don't have it in their Ms today.

On other items, perhaps I should just be patient. Some of the items that I originally found at various different Ms far away have now started to appear in some, but not others, of my Ms. I now have a whole range in one of them that has appeared in the last two weeks and was not there before! This range I picked up a few weeks ago in another store far away from my home. Perhaps the Schwartz Grill Mates will eventually arrive:rotfl: - probably after the price on them has ended:(. I have the big 200g ones (showing £1 online for M) in none of the stores I have nearby to me and which I've checked this week - a total of four different stores. I am sure from the ranges in various Ms that I've seen on my tours, though, that quite a few Ms farther away from me are likely to stock these products and it's likely that at least one of them will be an APG collection store. I think they probably will pick them up - or whichever different one happens to be available (or have a SEL for) in the store they checked that happened to have one or more of them.

On the Crucials Yoghurt & Mint - remember I had problems with that? I found it, first, from msm:eek: - that's right, I found lots of different Crucials products in one store and took a whole list of them but later found none of them were available in A but that only the Yoghurt & Mint version was - and I had not got that one from any of my numerous stores at all. In fact, that full list had to come from two different far-away stores, as the one that had a very wide range didn't have one of them that was in another store (which didn't have as many in total) but neither of them had Yoghurt & Mint (or any SEL for it)! However, I took it from online as it seemed clear the version would be available in some M I hadn't visited. I later picked it up from two separate stores on another leg of the tour. Then I was picking it up in one of my regular stores, as well as a further store, and I felt it wasn't as risky as I first thought!

On Monday, I had a whole lot in one of my regular stores but not the Yoghurt & Mint(:rotfl:)! However, I had the Yoghurt & Mint in another of my regular (but less regular) stores by this time - it also had a few other Crucials products but not many of them. I now have Yoghurt & Mint in both stores, including the one that had all but that last time and it is still in the other store that doesn't have as a wide a range on the Crucials products as of today. The Yoghurt & Mint product is no longer in my regular store where I first found it! It's now in the other two that didn't have it before:rotfl:.

Off the phone now. Credit Card details had been stolen :(

From the man reading off the list of transactions everything has been stopped that wasn't me.

Something called getting personal £300 ish
Ocado £160 ish and tesco mobile top ups!

I once managed to pay for a car (I kid you not) with my credit card. It went through very happily. I then stopped to fill up with fuel and the card did not work. I did rather acidly point out to the fraud department that if the card had been stolen, blocking the car purchase would have made rather more sense!

I am very glad that they stopped it all for you.

they also have 2 sets of dates for Birmingham and Manchester

    Birmingham 1 - 3 March and Manchester 8 -10 March

I assume its New Street and Piccadilly.

also Leeds but I did not get the dates so it must be either side of these - it might be worth while FB messaging them or sending them a tweet.

my reputation for free meals goes before me :rotfl:

Ooh -- thank you. I have just been booking train tickets and will be at Piccadilly on both 8 and 10 March. Are they giving out MOCs do we know?

    O blessed St. Anthony,
the grace of God has made you a powerful advocate
in all our needs and the patron
for the restoring of things lost or stolen.
I turn to you today with childlike love and deep confidence.
You have helped countless children of God
to find the things they have lost,
    material things, and, more importantly,
the things of the spirit: faith, hope, and love.
    I come to you with confidence;
help me in my present need.
I recommend what I have lost to your care,
in the hope that God will restore it to me,
if it is His holy Will

:rotfl::rotfl: My Mum just taught us to say 'Please St Anthony, guide my eyes.' It is quite remarkable how often it works!!!!

Just got back from Surrey. :D

Was going to stop in Sainsbobs on the way back but by the time I rounded both DDs up I didn't drive past the one on the way home until 9.55pm and they shut at 10pm, don't think I would have made it through the doors. Was going to look for that Lindt chocolate I posted earlier. :o

Obviously no MSEers live near my DD1. With finding the rice in Sainsbobs late in the day and bits in Superdrug that I got cheap before xmas.

Didn't take me long to start filling the boot again. :rotfl:

Ring the no on the back of the card. If it's a premium no look for an alternative on saynoto0870.
Good luck, hope you don't end up with hassle.
its 0845 but says calls charged at local rate. So thats ok right?
    annieme wrote: »
I think it depends on your phone's terms & conditions. Sorry I'm not much help. Which provider are you with?
0845 numbers haven't been 'local rate' since 2004. Both Ofcom and ASA issued a note about this in 2005. See: http://webarchive.nationalarchives.gov.uk/20080728101959/http:/www.cap.org.uk/cap/news_events/news/2005/Stop+the+call+confusion.htm.

All 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers are premium rate. You'll pay an Access Charge of up to 12p per minute from landlines or up to 45p per minute from mobiles plus the Service Charge demanded by the organisation that you're calling.

For 084 numbers, including 0845, the Service Charge is up to 7p per minute depending on the exact number called. New Ofcom regulations effective 1 July 2015 require the Service Charge to be shown in close proximity to the number, everywhere it is advertised or promoted. See: http://www.ukcalling.info/industry and https://www.cap.org.uk/Advice-Training-on-the-rules/Advice-Online-Database/Chargeable-08-numbers-General.aspx.

Various guidance for public services and regulations for retailers, traders and passenger transport companies and for financial services companies over the last few years means that most organisations no longer use 084 or 087 numbers. Most have swapped to the matching 034 or 037 number. Others have chosen some other 01, 02, 03 or 080 number.

Specifically, new FCA regulations effective 26 October 2015 require financial services to use 01, 02, 03 or 080 numbers for contact from existing customers. Most have swapped their 0845 lines over to the matching 0345 number. Check their website for their current numbers.

Calls to 01, 02 and 03 numbers are inclusive from landlines and from mobiles, else charged at 'geographic rate'.

Calls to 080 numbers are free from landlines and from mobiles.

I've still got a drawer-full of these from when they were, in effect, free, so I am resisting this particular offer, tempting though it is, thank you! I find I don't feel it is appropriate to give these away so at some stage I must get round to eBaying them!
