Thanks for remembering. However, appointment cancelled as nurses said there was no point having only had my tubes out a week. Got one in March.

Have had to email nurses as already finding it harder to use the catheter than it was earlier in the week. There is a one way valve you have to push through to get to the bladder. To start with was dead easy, straight through channel, push a bit harder, and through. Now its almost as if the channel has got bigger near the valve and I'm struggling to find it. I've managed every time, but taking a lot longer than it was. Am just wary of pushing too hard in case I damage something I shouldn't. Sure its nothing to worry and just beginners nerves. :o

I'm sure the nurses won't mind you emailing them and you won't be the only person that have had the same problem. Relax if you can as you will no doubt be tensing up if you are worried about pushing too hard X

I'm still 12 pages behind but won't catch you up tonight as RL is getting in the way  visitors that we weren't expecting but having a lovely chat.

The film was brilliant, Lady In The Van.

Visitors going home at 9pm so just in time for CBB, everyone thinks I've popped off to the upstairs loo and setting my recorder on :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

I know, the more I tell myself to relax the more I tense up! :rotfl:
I think its because I've got this deep routed fear that if I can't get the thing in, I will have to go to hospital, as I now have no other means of getting to my bladder. It must be quite scary to my subconscious I suppose. :o

It was stage 3 that this woman got a gift card on yesterday. Sure they paid something like £7 but SEL said £4 odd.

    Evening all

Pretty lazy weekend here as rubbish sleep due to continuation of my stupid cough.
Did have to head out for a quick top up shop in Ts today though. No new mags in my store but I managed to hit whoopsie time just right. Not a lot of bakery (no temptation ;) ) but got a load of veggies for tea and some beautiful Finest flowers at 85% off. Spotted that a lot of the Xmas gammons are coming up to use by date so will definitely keep an eye on these over the next couple of days.

FC, sorry to read that you needed a hospital stay. Had been thinking about you and your scan. Glad you managed to get out in the greenhouse. Gardening can be great therapy x

Snap, sorry that your Dad has met another hurdle. What a worrying time for you if you're not confident about his care. Glad that they have taken some action against the nurses. PALS within the hospital may be able to help if you continue to have concerns. I hope that he makes some improvement soon x

Can someone tell me if they put a used receipt apg in price check

Does the apg just print top half of the said receipt

This happens to me sometimes perky if I'm a bit quick off the mark and the image hasn't fully loaded before I press print. You need to slow down a bit:D
