  • Good morning all, a bit of a miserable day here, weather wise.

Made the mistake of looking in Next for beds yesterday. We found the perfect one! So now we have to double check the measurements as it would appear to be about a centimetre too big, hoping they measure up to the outside of the handles

So of course now I have to wait for the sale to try to get it cheaper!

I've been a bit greedy and added 17 magazines to my library collection.

Mainly food, gardening and Country Homes:rotfl:

I've found a cracker for anyone wanting to stretch their brains....ouch.....Philosophy Now.......have a peep.....there's a big section on the philosophy of humour and why certain things make us laugh.......so very well written and interesting.

Right I need to get this day underway before it disappears in front of my eyes:)

I am trying to search for something too, and keep getting this message. Does anyone know what this is please?

    "connection to mse-forums-db.hosted-at.thebunker.net:3312 failed (errno=111, msg=Connection refused)"

    Me too

Not read back, but Helen I hope your little one is feeling better. Just found the post, scary, hope he is back home.

    Morning all

Helen I hope your little lad is on the mend very soon :)

I've seen the sopost thing on my timeline but am :o to admit that I've not done anything about it because I thought it was :spam: :o:o I shall remedy this :)

My asbo cat is in the doghouse. She chose the exact moment that I was turning over in bed to jump up from her sleeping spot and catch my face with her claw, leaving me with an inch long scratch on my face  only about a centimetre from my eye too

Not a good look with two interviews lined up this week

    Good luck with the interviews

Thanks Anon, and marmite and enterprise for confirming it is not just me.

I thought it was something I had done on my laptop as I had been having probs with chrome and changed a couple of settings, so I have done 'system restore' for nothing :o (and now have to re-do some updates: Java, C.cleaner and another one of my programmes)
  • Good morning

If you've got the carling ipint app... Be careful with expire dates as they seem to expire at the very beginning of the expire date not at the end as you'd expect:( my free pack has gone expired :(

Didn't dare go and get it last weekend as we were doing dry January, though temptation maybe a little too much after a bad day in the office!!

Morning all, very wet and miserable an cold outside.

we had a lovely weekend and eldest child got her early train back down south again- she left home 10 years ago but the partings are still painful and always will be.
texting, FB messaging and face time have made things so much better but still you can never tell how many months it will be before you meet up again.

then as it was still too early we went home via Tesco extra to get the milk, thinking we might get out again later ..

so then I get back in the car and the radio is on
