I have had a dripping tap for about a 6 months  and my OH is a plumber, and he cant be bothered to do it when he comes home  its driving me mad. All he says is put a sponge or a cloth under it to catch the drips you wont hear it then

Don't hold your breath. My Oh is an IT/Telecoms engineer. It took me 16 years to get a phone extension socket in my kitchen

The most annoying thing is that since I have been helping him in his work I could now do it myself in under half an hour, and most of that time would be running the cable under the carpet :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hang a plastic bag on the tap, stops the annoying reverberation when it drips onto porcelein :D

Very windy over night and no sign of it slowing at the moment

I'm going to Bury St Edmunds later as I want to collect my l'occitane for my free Shea Butter Comforting gift if they have ant left. Thank you to the op, can't remember who it was :o

We are also going to see The Revenant using Meerkat Movies, film starts at 1.30 so an early lunch first.

    Better get a wriggle on:cool:

Hugs to all in need X

LS hope your day goes well, NLA (no leaks allowed) :rotfl:
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

OH's father was a builder/handyman so my OH thinks he knows how to do most things. He replaced the bathroom a few years ago (admittedly had to dodge around DD as she was at "that" age). He cannot understand my problem with the uneven tiling and the fact there is no floor under the bath :eek: Everything is connected just fine, and the bath etc are installed well, it is just the aesthetics that are driving me up the wall. And the shower screen needs replacing, I will have to work on convincing him to have the idea to replace it :rotfl::rotfl:

    Morning everyone :)

Probably a stupid question but does anyone know where I put my payment details in on the ipint app? I've even looked at the FAQ's and I just can't see it anywhere :o

I'm not sure of prices but there might be potential for cheap/free movies with this:

Sainsburys entertainment £5.00 off any rental or purchase of any film

morning all, just catching up while I have my tea.

very blustery outside, its even rattling the back door in the porch so it sounds like a cat desperate to get in - they all came home about half an hour ago so that is a sure sign of impending dire weather.

my prize from roots vegetable crisps twitter feed arrived - a bag of veg crisps and an ice scraper - I am living the dream

email from Superdrug to collect my weekend bag but I have 21 days - just hope that I don't forget it now - do Superdrug ask for ID when you collect orders?

a bit of domestic admin to force myself to do before getting back to the salt mine but first a read back ...

  • Right, not risking going out on my bike cos I might have to walk back if it gets too windy, so I am going to go and do some scanning down Tesco.

    Sad life eh :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
