Morrisons Treatsize Favourites have shot up in price, so I'd better pull them off the list! Do you want to know how much? Were £1, now £2.27:eek:!
Is there something about a price that ends in a 7? I think these non-round prices are often indications that they are expensive full price and not an offer. (So why would you normally buy at them if you see them, unless you are doing a competitor comparison? Don't answer that - it's this inefficient way that most people do shopping, failing to plan it out properly at all, to target the offers, instead just buying at whatever price it is at when they run out. Or, sometimes, just buying at whatever price it is at anyway as they happen to be in the supermarket and just see whatever is placed in front of them and impulse buy it.)
You see Fabric Conditioner at £2.98 rather than £2, and the "98" is a clue that it's too much (unless, obviously buying to compare against a competitor). Ye Olde Oak Ham - the offer is £1, but the full price is £1.68 (so never buy when you see "...68" - unless of course you are comparing against the competitor that is £1 and then it's better for them to be £1.68). Speaking of canned meat, there is some Ye Olde Oak Corned Beef (340g) at £1.47 in M. That would be a good price - you never usually get 340g for as low as that cost apart from SP/Value/Savers etc. However, sadly A do not have Ye Olde Oak version of that, so A SP vs T, M or S works out cheaper than the £1.47 offer on the Ye Olde Oak in M. I am aware of the offer in M - just explains why that's not appeared on the list anywhere. However, in the event that someone only has an M available to them and no A (therefore can't get 10%) - and doesn't get staff discount off £1.50 prices on 'value' ranges in any other supermarket - then Ye Olde Oak 340g at £1.47 in M would be the best way to go! Of course, Ye Olde Oak could be best for people that have M staff discount cards.0 -
I did see the bath mats & did fondle the aubergine colour one, BUT I put it back I have at least 25 bath mats & I can't bear to get rid of any of them

SP Corned Beef tin has gone up by a penny, from when I last looked (could be ages ago though) so watch out for old SELs and, as part of your shop if you find that, could be better than free!
EDIT: Ah, went up last November!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
