OH asked him if he was going to stay in business as our last sweep stopped doing it.

he replied only if his cancer returned - he had stage 4 bowel cancer - OMG

I cant see them charging, but if they plan too, you could always get the anti-roll bar bushes done there. I would be tempted to tell them the price you can get the clutch done, they may bring their price down. I would also see if there is a local independent garage and get a clutch price from them as well as Mr. Clutch, as usualy the service at an independent is 'usually' better than the national chains.

VW do pricematch but they want on headed paper a break down of parts prices including part numbers & labour costs. the lady i've been speaking to at mr clutch is being so helpful bless her

I always feel rich when I have plenty of cheese as its such an expensive thing and we eat loads....remember when the kids were little I had to hide it as they would cut bits off as snacks !!!!
