There was an old custom when I was married of throwing coins out of the car window as the bride drove off to church......usually there was a crowd of neighbours ...especially children watching who would scrabble for the pennies.........I had one very elderly lady with a huge brolly watch as I left the house and we couldn't decide to throw the pennies at her or not:rotfl:
Well did you or not? :rotfl:0 -

And mine and i got married in July:eek:
So did I and it was gorgeous sunshine. :T
Anyone local to me will know Coy Pond we had some lovely wedding pictures taken there which would not have been possible if it had rained. They had even painted the white wooden rails along the path for us (not really for us).
Was a shame as when SIL tried to recreate one of our photos when she got married few years later you could see the paint peeling.0 -
My wedding day was a gloriously sunny September day, unusual for Wales:p
Lovely churchin the middle of nowhere, with family vicar with exact same name as oh. Birds sang, sun shone, everything was perfect until some muppet caught my dress with a fag:rotfl:0 -
