So on a cold and wet February day we dropped the children off at school and walked to the registry office in winter coats, jumpers and jeans.
We didn't have anyone with us so grabbed two ladies registering their civil partnership and they were our witnesses.
We went home rang my dh mum and my dad to tell them then did the weekly shop (pre elite).

Ladyshopper wrote: »Good luck. There is a form on holiday extras site, think its at the bottom of the page, when you click on the "free if" bit and it gives you the t&c's and a link to the form. You need to take screenshots of the cheaper site, the screenshots need to show the date and time on them. On the form there is a bit where you can upload your screenshots, and away you go. Its dead easy, just make sure you do it within 24 hours of booking.
Good find:)
But I cant find anything cheaper than holiday extras:(0 -

Do you mean you can claim the remainder on another account or do you get the full amount on the alias?
To clarify what I mean
£90 already claimed this month
Claim £15 apg, capped at £10
Alias claims same £15 apg, awarded £5 or £15?
Do they share the same eagle code in long barcode?#CHEEKY :cool:0 -

springdreams wrote: »The thing with getting cars repaired is that you are not just paying for the part. The part is usually only a small part of the cost. It is the labour that costs. Garages generally have set amounts of time for particular jobs. So for example say to change a gear box is 7 hours. Even if the techie only takes 4 hours, you will get charged 7 hours as that it how much the dealership head office has worked out it should take to change a gearbox, and everyone will get charged 7 hours for a gearbox change irrespective of how long it actually takes. It gives customers more certainty. People don't like being told we charge by the hour but we are not sure how many hours your job will take, so can't give you a cost estimate. Having set hours for each job enables the garage to cost the job.
Totally agree, so posted a link for somewhere that would price online including labour, to give a rough idea of the overall price. I just think £8-900 is a little much to fit a clutch.

There was an old custom when I was married of throwing coins out of the car window as the bride drove off to church......usually there was a crowd of neighbours ...especially children watching who would scrabble for the pennies.........I had one very elderly lady with a huge brolly watch as I left the house and we couldn't decide to throw the pennies at her or not:rotfl:
My dad had a pocket full of change and threw it out of the car window on the way to the church when I married the first time. 'Hoy oot' we called it, or he did
We called that the 'hoy oot' all father's of the bride and grooms had to have a pocket full of change to throw out. As kids we haunted the streets on Saturdays waiting for weddings!!
Yes Pippo, Hoy oot. A good Northern custom, trouble was we lived in East Anglia then. The villagers that saw this take place must have thought we were from the funny farm  :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
