We can confirm the lack of power you are experiencing on your vehicle. We can confirm that the clutch is very worn which is causing this lack of power feeling.
We need to remove the gearbox & replace the clutch system & may also need the flywheel. If this is the case the toal cost for this repair £1480.74inc VAT.
We also noted during the investigation the front antiroll bar bushes were worn if you would like these replaced at the same time the price is £145.10 inc VAT
Finally the centre exhaust mount is broken, this we can repair for you, to do this the cost of the repair is £54.00inc

Obviously I dont know what sort of car it is, but I would call around for a quote for the clutch, as that is a huge price for a clutch. Just had a quick look, and a clutch kit for a 2010 5 series BMW is under £200.

Cheer1eeder, I would not recommend going here, but you can put made up details (but correct reg!) and email in (I just put sd@wefwf.com ) and it will give you a quote, so at least you know approx price you should be looking at.

I may be being dumb, but surely the loss of power is nothing to do with the clutch? If it is I would love to know why.

Clutch could be slipping resulting in lack of power at the wheels.

can you please give details as to where you find it cheaper please, many thanks

I found my lounge cheaper on APH website, lounges are under the travel extras section.

Do your research first, as you have to book through holiday extras then only have 24 hours to submit your claim.

My clutch went about 2 months ago and 2 days prior it started off with a feeling of not being at full power at 30 miles an hour then went to being a bit slow pulling off a roundabout in first to finally no power at all and crawling towards the garage and resulting full clutch replacement
