    Morning all

Hope you've all had a good weekend. I've been going a bit stir crazy stuck at home. Did order the boys some lovely Joules fleeces at less than half price from HoF sale so had a bit of retail therapy. Also defeated a few Candy levels - caught you tweets :D
Am now definitely not contagious and officially on annual leave instead of being off sick so could go out... but I'm shattered this morning so am being a lazy mare :p

  • Well the newest arrival in the spam/phishing emails made me smile.

It's allegedly from WhatsApp and its headline tells me I had a missed message at 04.08 this morning.
Like that tempts me to have a look.:rotfl:

I've had a few of those too. I am not even signed up to WhatsApp anyway, just another app to me lol

The only appt you can get on the day at our dr is with the nurse practioner. Otherwise you have to wait anything between 10 days and 3 weeks. I have been having problems with arm pain at night for about 3 months. I went to the nurse who suggested it was my neck out of line and to get new pillows. Seem to help for a while. Went back in dec and had blood tests which were clear and dr suggested topical pain gel. So I made an appt just after xmas for last Monday before work. Day before appt was cancelled and I was offered one last Thursday with a locum. I took an hour off work ( for which I lose money) and my appt was 50 minutes late!
Dr was a young woman who was clueless and she suggested polymalgia but it might be muscular. She then said I should have had my thryoid levels checked but wait till I have another blood test in the future.
I think I damaged my rotator cuff doing kettlebells in October last year so she finally said what did I want to do. So I am booked for Physio but am tempted to make another appt to see someone else.

our physio has a clinic actually at our docs and when I had back problems the doc straight away offered me sessions.
I had about 6 sessions with the physio and he worked miracles, not only with giving me exercises but also with giving me advice about my core, as I have a slight curve.

as for problems getting docs appointment - a problem with no solution whatsoever in some areas - this is an odd suggestion but its worth a try, I would compose an email and send it off to your local MP - there is a website with all of their names and email addresses on.

I've sent him our local MP emails on all sorts of issues, I get an acknowledgment letter and then a follow up letter later when he has gone some investigations, mostly we don't get anywhere but at least he knows what the problems are -
I've emailed him over the last few years about several planning applications which our MP is very much against but sadly our local council planning department are determined to concrete over everything.
also there was a newspaper article featuring our MP about go faster broadband hitting the county so I emailed our MP who got in touch with the local council but it seems go faster broadband does not apply to us :(

    Morning folks :D

Me and MG are going into town today to look for a dress for me for the wedding - he's like "why do I need to go with you?" Um it might be something to do with you've got your suit sorted and know the *exact* colour I need to be looking for lol. He just hates shopping. I'll drag him around a few other shops while we're there

try Monsoon - I got 2 lovely dresses last week in their sale

Thanks. I will keep the physio appt and try anothers drs appt in meantime. Our surgery used to do same day appts and it seemed to work well. Also we have this new online service where you can get an online discussion with dr so I might try that. You are supposed to be able to see your medical records on there but all it shows are your meds.
I will write to my MP as I was going to write to him this week as our main market place post office is being moved to our local spar store in a few months. There is no parking and it is a really small store and we have a very busy post office. It is near my house and parking is a real problem already with lots of people parking outside our houses already when they go to work in town. It will be a nightmare
