Sitting, hunting for glitches until I feel tired.

I am an insomniac at the moment, all due to dry January!

The pictures of the bottles of wine earlier, almost made me lose the battle:eek:

I won though and am sat here with a lovely mug of Ovaltine:T

I'm insomniac too. I do sleep a lot through the day which doesn't help. I try not to.

I can't drink, it makes me feel sick :o I do miss it though. What I miss is normality.....being a rebel in life and following my own path, whatever that is.

my doctor hates me being a rebel. he tells me off constantly :rotfl:

I've had a heated discussion with OH tonight. it wasn't an argument, just a difference of opinion. we had this heated discussion about soldiers being looked at for war crimes in Iraq over 10 years ago. He was there, I wasn't. I don't think people should get to act as thugs whilst wearing a uninform to protect them. he sees it differently. it's something we will never agree on.

if people commit crimes whilst fighting for this country and wearing our uniform then I think they should pay for them. there are rules that wearing a uniform doesn't get you out of. if you act like a thug and hide behind a uniform you should take the consequences. that's just my opinion and I may sleep on the sofa because it's not shared in my household  :o

    hey ho :D

    White Chocolate Coins (100g) - 20p in A.

Obviously not one of my usual As as they "never" have any RTCs around here:rotfl:. I figured that these are better price than Eday Value White Chocolate Bar in T (same weight) at 30p.

In fact, I can tell you where I found this one: it was in a small supermarket - Asda Saltney. Me doing the Wrexham run again:rotfl:. Nowhere near where I live!:rotfl::rotfl:

Perhaps we should wait and maybe they'll go lower than 20p.

I think I've now concluded that sweets, crisps, snacks etc., unless they are on a glitch, should otherwise *only* be bought in seasonal versions after the relevant season has ended. It's always better and it's :money:! (That's obviously why you should always wait for the stages of reduction at T, for example, and then get the 1p chocs that are around somewhere at that time.)

Seasonal items, after the season, are always cheaper than any 'normal' versions at any time.

The big M&Ms Hallowe'en Pouch in M - which is now long gone, barring the (unlikely?) situation that it is still to be found in some M somewhere, was £1 for 300g after Hallowe'en. No other packs come anywhere near close to that weight. Same with the Skittles packs that went to 43p - all Skittles since (that are not connected to Hallowe'en) have been more expensive.

We still have Bassett's Jelly Babies carton (460g), obviously linked to Christmas, at 75p in the M stores where it is still available. More likely, it seems, to be ones that are still showing £1.96 price:rotfl:. There is quite some stock in one such store that I saw!

I have no idea why people ever buy those small 190g bags of Bassett's Jelly Babies even at £1 - let alone any other higher prices that they sometimes retail at. It makes absolutely no sense as the big carton, of course, is quite substantially cheaper. Those have September 2016 BBs on them for me - so you can have as many as will last next month and the next several months! Probably end up buying several cartons and spending more than £1 on doing so!:eek::rotfl::D

Again, it's same with the KP nuts as lots of people will still be buying smaller sizes and paying more for them rather than the KP Dry Roasted Peanuts 500g bag at £1. Again I've put them as Avs M:wall:, but I feel that is most unlikely so best of luck trying to find those in M as, unless you are at the lucky one store (or very few stores), it is a no-trace everywhere else. (Based on the percentage of stores in which I've found it, it would equate to being available in only about 27 M stores in the whole country. Obviously, I can't tell if that figure is anywhere near correct as it could just be that I happened to visit a whole load of stores where it wasn't available whereas, I had visited a completely different set of stores, I could have a very different result and be left with a different impression. However, I have not found it very widely available at all, though it is there somewhere! You could work it out though... if my figure is anywhere near right, the chance of them visiting 6 stores and for at least one of them to be one of the 27 stores nationwide in which the product is stocked...! Given that M has over 500 stores.)

KP nuts £1 at 500g work out cheaper than S/price Salted Peanuts! Though they don't work out quite as cheap as the 400g nuts at 59p in T several months ago that I could never find anywhere. There was quite a short date on the KP ones I found (about another week to the BB) but quite adequate enough for me;)!

So much for pricing of £1.99 and "offer" of 2 for £3 on the 300g version:rotfl:. I notice Sains. has the 100g bag at £1.35:eek::eek:! 35p more expensive for 100g than a bag five times the amount in M! (A very rare M unfortunately:(. But - it may be your M!:D)

Anyway, it's an absolute top money-saving tip to stick all your future stock into seasonal items (after the season has gone) and never pay £1 prices for those small pouches ever again. It's just no sense to do so and the number of items, one after one, repeatedly, seasonal version afterwards much cheaper (and giving you much more product for it), just reinforces the point now.

Jacobs Cheeselets (280g drum) have now gone down to 50p in the M stores where they are still available. Also Jacob's Twiglets have done the same (200g).

Boo as I bought one of the Cheeselets drums a few days ago at 75p!

I assume the Jacob's Mini Cheddars drum is now 50p in any M store in which it might still be available, though I haven't seen any store with any trace of it yet!

I managed to see a tube of 150g Pink Smarties at 50p. Yes indeed, it was Mr M in Wrexham that came up with it!:T Though not there now as I appear to have taken the last one:D. Again - why would anyone ever buy the normal 4 pack hexatube version (total 152g) even at offer prices of £1 (let alone it's regular £1.48)?

I was not on a Smarties trip (specifically for the smarties) - that would not make sense - but, as I happened to find them, I took them anyway. Particularly since someone at my house consumed far too Smarties last week:mad::mad:.:rotfl: I have now hidden the new ones very carefully.

It's very nice to get out and about from time to time.
Even though it's not been exactly good weather earlier.

Anyway, it's late, so see you later:wave:.

    Not quite gone yet:rotfl:.

Baco Turkey Roasting Foil is 75p RTC in A. Same as the (expensive?:rotfl:) RTC in M in whichever store that is found!

In fact, if you can't find some of the items on the 'buy in M' list - I would be amazed if they were all found in one store - if you PM me I can try and tell you which M store in Yorkshire, North Wales, the North West or the North Midlands the item was found in! (If I can remember:rotfl:.) All in the North:D. Will probably be miles away from you:(:rotfl:. You stand no chance of a reply today though as I'm probably out again!(:rotfl::rotfl:)

However, do a keep a watch out on wombles for some of those items that I say probably won't work as, you never know, they might have got the right store for them.

    I am going for now:rotfl:.

    Bye!:wave::wave:
