    QUOTE=fairclaire;69880882]Evening

I was in DS2 room putting stuff away earlier. I noted a new wallpaper on his PC. It said 'Get paid, Get Laid, Gatorade' so I said to him what's that all about then? He said 'There's no point in me explaining it to you Mum I really don't think you'd understand'
I said well I understand getting paid, I understand getting laid and I know what Gatorade is so try me. He did a big sigh and said 'see I knew you wouldn't understand, you just see things for what they are and have no idea of what goes on on the internet'  so I left it. I'm totally confused and have no idea what it means.

Also heard yesterday....him and houseguest talking about a lad in houseguests year who is apparently going to be a Dad. DS2 said to houseguest whilst shrugging his shoulders 'He should've wrapped it' :rotfl:
Not bothered in the slightest that I was stood there with my jaw on the floor  :o[/QUOTE]

Sorry you've had a stint in hospital hun. As someone said earlier, take care of yourself and don't do too much. When you are a naturally busy person it is hard to have to sit back and do less, but please try.
Reading your post above made me laugh, and it occurred to me that now would be the ideal time to make a start on 'the book'. It would make you sit and use brain power rather than physical energy. It has been said before that it would be a best seller, as your tales about your Ds are so funny.
    Sending you big hugs.

Sitting, hunting for glitches until I feel tired.

I am an insomniac at the moment, all due to dry January!

The pictures of the bottles of wine earlier, almost made me lose the battle:eek:

I won though and am sat here with a lovely mug of Ovaltine:T

:hello:The own brand 6 pack Mince Pies have gone down to 25p in M.

There was another cause of bemusement for those of you who knew better than me, when you saw me putting the KP Dry Roasted Nuts Drum (450g) at £1.50 onto the list! What was I doing messing around and faffing with that when there are the bags of KP Dry Roasted Peanuts (500g) in M at £1.00? The answer is that I was yet to visit your M store and/or my spies had not yet informed me of this. I'm making a good attempt but, until I visit every M store in the country:rotfl:, the list is always going to be incomplete because every additional M has further items that there is absolutely no trace of in previous stores I've visited.

I had someone tell me several months ago, to my surprise, that they couldn't find some 53p Dr Oekter Sprinkles in their M. I was surprised as they are in one of the M stores I visit and I see them every week. However, I now understand where you are coming from - I can't find them in many stores. I don't know whether people use the "buy in M" list and whether they have much luck finding some of the products that are on it - from some of the stores I've seen, I can now understand that you might go to those stores, looking at the items on the shelves on my list and find no evidence at all of any of the items on my list and only a whole load of other products. It's like you're in a completely different place:D - are you sure you're even in M? Yet, all of those items have been found in some M store by me, but none of them whatsoever are in some M stores.

I've now found that M does have more stock of the 'RTC' lollies (that have now been around for ages) than the one Randoms pack that is in one of the stores I visit more regularly. In fact there's quite a few items that disappeared totally from my usual stores, and were taken off my list several months ago, but which I have now discovered are still stocked by M elsewhere! They should therefore never have been deleted! It seems that items will end up with RTCs but will often still continue to be available indefinitely in some stores (probably ones where not much attention was drawn to the price).

I think the lollies may well have worked on the APG several weeks ago. Given that I have found them once again, by going to further stores, I have put them back onto the list as they are still in M somewhere! However, I now reckon that they are unlikely to compare on the APG. They have gone, it seems, from most stores which makes it less likely that they will be in the APG price collection stores. You can see the difficulties that I myself was having with my usual selected stores. I'm now aware that they are still in M somewhere, due to visiting more stores, but that's more than the price collectors use and they may well no longer be in any of their stores. This does explain why it is random as to what they pick up. I think the lollies are a 'buy in M' rather than risk on the APG any more.

I also think that the Dettol Laundry Sanitiser is unlikely to work anymore. This did once work on the APG - and that surprised me a little that it worked because it wasn't in many stores for me - however it switched stores for me and now, whilst it is technically available in at least one M store, I can't find it anywhere else. It would have been RTC and it does now seem to have cleared, without leaving any trace, from most stores. I feel that this is now more rare than it ever was - and I think this is now very unlikely to be in a price collection store (although as usual it may be and it will be random as to what gets picked up). Given the very low percentage of stores that I've visited that now have any evidence of this product even existing, I think it is now unlikely to work.

I have also found some Aunt Bessie's Roast Potatoes (1.5Kg) on £1.50 RTC (RTC prices do work on the APG if they pick them up) - however, again, it's not in every store and the percentage of the ones I've visited in which I've found it is quite low. I've put it onto Avs M, but I reckon this too is a rare item (although there may be - indeed sometimes is - quite a lot of stock in some rare stores in which it is found) and I think it is likely to find six stores, that the APG uses, and find that it is unavailable in all of them but, again, it is random and it might be in their stores and picked up after all.

What I was going to say earlier, when I didn't get time, was to comment about the Regina Blitz kitchen roll and to say that it should compare exactly as it is doing - not too much of a surprise given that this product is available in every M store (or, if not every store, then nearly every store). I also reckon - very foolhardy:rotfl: - that the 30 can Pepsi packs will pick up and compare, although against £5.87 price rather than £5 price that went on in M on Thursday. No promises as usual - but :rotfl:I'm just having a rash moment of thinking that they would work! There are in a lot of the stores I've seen.

But, anyway, I think people would be best going to their own M (when they do normally) and having a look and seeing if there are any 25p/50p items that are very good at the moment. You may well find some that aren't on my list, because I simply haven't visited that store and, despite all the ones I've visited, almost unbelievably, it is in none of them. It's possibly that case that all - or nearly all - Christmas items that M stocked just before Christmas are still around in at least one store and that many of them are now 25p/50p. Not all of them - I found some Party Poppers and they scanned at 75p.

There's lots of potentially good Christmas items now - although maybe we should wait and see if they go even cheaper - although the Christmas frosting at 25p is not one of them given that I have actually found stock of some Hallowe'en frosting at 10p:rotfl: - though it's more likely that you will only find the Christmas Frosting in your store. (Obviously, someone, somewhere, does have the 10p Hallowe'en one.) They are also some RTC dog and cat treat products. So, I think everyone would be best advised to see what is at their M, given that I am unable to capture every item that M stocks.

So, it's Christmas items - that will be in the same aisle as the big January event (with red promotional signage). Ignore the big January event and look at the Christmas items in the same aisle instead! (They will be in the same aisle unless your store has a completely different layout to any M store that I have seen.) It's Christmas cat and dog items - to be found in the regular pets aisle(s). And some cakes/bakery items (found in the regular cake/bakery area). Those of where some of the items might be found at the moment.

I've already indicated on the Avs M list, the items which are found in fewer stores and therefore are not likely to work on the APG as they are less likely to be in the APG price collector's stores. Other than that, I now think everything else will work unless they have picked up a wrong price in error. I know I can never say they will work! But, understanding why things fail, now enables me to be fairly confident about the items that I now haven't indicated to say I think they are unlikely to work. Fairly confident:eek: - famous last words!:rotfl: The APG collectors :eek:seem to be doing a fairly good job - but the moment I say that, they usually let me down:rotfl:.
