  • Well, I've finally managed to get my OH to come up with the idea that we could do with a wooden bed frame to go with the mattress :D

The annoying thing is that we found the perfect ones in Bensons but they were not willing to take any more off the price than the value of the mattress that was free with the frame and delivery, not enough in my mind.

Does anyone know how Bensons rotate their offers, such as do they have a different bed on offer each week?
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

  • OH is talking about giving up chocolate in feb in addition to alcohol

I've been eating all the chocolate lying around to reduce temptation obviously.

I was on a frugal group on FB and 1 woman was asking who else uses receipt hog which I had never heard of. You get coins to collect towards amazon vouchers etc. You have to dl the app. Does anyone else use it? I just got it so not sure how gd it is yet.
Yes. I use it. Max of 3 receipts per retailer per day plus another limit of a max of 20 per week.
It takes a few seconds to upload receipts and you can get either Amazon or Paypal credit. It will take a while before you have enough to exchange for PayPal/Amazon but, it's free

Miss corrupted please don't take this the wrong way I know your stepson gives you a hard time. And is unpleasant, but I really feel sorry for him, he sounds a sad and angry little boy, his mother is so obviously doing a rubish job with him he is not being taught manners or cleanliness, or little else, he sounds resentful of your happy family so plays up and is horrid, I hope one day he will let the barriers down and let himself be a part of your family and rearealise to be nice to you is not a betrayal of his mum.
    Good luck anyway xx.

Please feel free to ignore me I might be talking a load of rubish. But find it hard to believe any child is naturally bad.
