Fairly sure they are out of date Savvy, sounds like some things that I saw just after Christmas, and those are not on the Super 6 at the moment.

Good. Cos I bought some potatoes in there today just now at full price! Had to, if these offers unfortunately not available nowadays (and no good prices on potatoes elsewhere - I notice M's Maris Piper 2.5kg that went from 2 for £1 to straight £1 are now well over £2:eek::huh::p). I hope no-one contradicts you and finds Aldi does have potatoes for 29p! That said, I could never even find the carrots for 29p when they were allegedly 29p in Aldi (got some from Lidl instead that were 29p) - my Aldis said 39p on the SEL and I made the assumption (big mistake!) that they would scan at 39p.

The fact the frozen veg. is on offer and isn't on msm suggests to me it has old offers. However, some sweets bag at 67p is still at that price (I noticed, as I went to get some Dominion Fruit Pastilles too - M's Rowntrees 125g RTC 50p tube (one of those was still kicking around yesterday) do not work out as good even on that price - Aldi 49p for 230g:T. The key is not to buy Fruit Pastilles at all except on rarer occasions;):money:). I avoided the 67p bag, as I thought no good with alternative ones in M at 23p/43p for more or the same weight! (They are rare - most stores will I think not now have them, although it could be your store. Of course, I have managed to be in an M that has them:D:D:p:rotfl::o.) Msm have also got some wipes pack showing at 59p in Aldi (Power Fresh Apple Fresh 40), which may be current or may not. However, M have some 40 pack own label versions at 50p (one of which, I hope, compares from A - I couldn't try that last week - and haven't done an Avs M shop of late - as my main A store as usual pulls any items that compare good against elsewhere - I'm sure!!).

    Oh dear:eek:

Just another thought, why not write to the various cosmetic companies and tell them what you are doing, and come right out with it and ask if they have samples they could send you. The worst they could do is say no, and it might be worth pointing out that often people use samples and decide they like them.

I think that might be the way to go, it'd be easier than running around the counters :D thanks

    For your information:

I assume as we are going through the day, and APG update for M due today - may or may not have happened yet and may be later this evening - that those OEPs are staying at £3.13 for M:( and not changing to £2 at any point. I suspect they were £3.13 on Monday just gone - beggars have picked two Mondays at which they were full price:( (rather than offers, one now worse, on successive Wednesdays in M). Keep looking - you never know, might give us a clue as to the timing of any update.:)

That last but one post of mine was good - I seem to have done a comparison on certain items between Aldi and M, including where best to buy them:rotfl:.

My 50p overpayment (and more:() went on some dinnerplates and bowl at £1 in A a few weeks ago, that I thought was fairly good price. Should have waited around and bought M's Black Contrast at 50p each now.

I bought the plates and bowls with a womble. However, it doesn't alter the fact that that could have been like cash in my hand and could have been spent on something else that worked out cheaper, even if I paid 50p times however many to M in real cash, as I would have had the higher value womble still with me even if I now had 50p times x less cash. So, treating them equally, it would have been better to have a £3 voucher with me rather than £1.50 cash say. (£1.50 that would have been with M had I bought the plates/bowl at 50p from there, and a £3 voucher that I would still have instead of that now being used with A on its twice-as-expensive versions:p. It's why I now buy potatoes from Aldi (or whichever works out cheapest place) rather than using wombles to buy them in A - I was getting through a lot more money in wombles, and more often, buying them there. Money that would have been better on something else. Except obviously at the rare point at which potatoes were 39p in A:rotfl::rotfl: - then, buying from A, wombles or otherwise, is a better idea.)
