  • Following advice from here about stuff to go in the hen weekend goody bags, I had to go into town today so thought I'd nip to boots while I was there.

I went to the Clinique counter and said to her that I was recommended to use some of their moisturiser but didn't want to spend stupid money without being sure it was going to be suitable, and did they have any samples I could try.

Yes of course, she says. She then gets the tester pot and scoops some out into a teeny tiny little pot

Very helpful but not quite what I was looking for :rotfl:

    Oh dear:eek:

Just another thought, why not write to the various cosmetic companies and tell them what you are doing, and come right out with it and ask if they have samples they could send you. The worst they could do is say no, and it might be worth pointing out that often people use samples and decide they like them.
What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare

    Afternoon Peeps,
Hope you don't mind me saying squigs, but my B&M had loads of these in today, 2 different versions at 99p each, plus a Fish variety at 69p.

    hth
Of course I don't mind curl girl, as the B&M price is brilliant.:)

The A. glitch is good for people who don't have B&M near to them.

please can I ask did anyone save the L'Occitane offer from this morning and if so can they please bump or repost it

the search facility is not working for me  but I now it was before 12 this morning.

I was on my iphone, should really have done a snap of it. I did 2 application in 2 emails for myself and OH but there is nothing in my inbox - usually L'Occitane send you an email with a code

I was planning on a trip to Chester but without the L'Occitane offer it wont be worth the effort :(

I never saw it on here....
I had an email from L'Occitane.
There isn't a code - you imput your details & then they send an email, just show them the email on your phone or print off email

I got mega trouted for doing that, thats why asked, she got the coupon back out the slot, then refused it:eek: so then when i went to use again said already been used:mad:
I got it sorted in the end with HO

Mine, that got voided off by the SS machine, then scanned through (voucher and receipt) - I noticed they were then under a different reference number, that appeared on the screen, than they were under that appeared for their initial scanning (that the machine afterwards randomly voided). They took the amount off fine on both occasions - even though the first of each of them was voided (thus only had the amount in vouchers off once, not twice).

I think the idea is not to be around machines when certain individual SAs are present. So, if some of the SAs are trout persons, go elsewhere to pay than the machines and use the machines only when they are not around them (can be other SAs around them then instead)! HTH.

Or for people that pay with APGs (maybe wombles).
