    Afternoon Peeps,
Hope you don't mind me saying squiggs, but my B&M had loads of these in today, 2 different versions at 99p each, plus a Fish variety at 69p.

    hth

:rotfl:Sorry:o - I told you, people, that £2 and even £1.81 prices that we see in major supermarkets are too dear!:rotfl::rotfl:

(They only just scraped onto my list at £1.81 last week, and then :(:odidn't work! Absolutely definitely £1.81 last Wednesday - but I think the APG collectors might have been collecting on Monday even though the T&Cs say price data may be up to 8 days old - meaning that, on Thursday, just before it updates supposedly on that day, it could be 10 days old (collected Monday of the previous week) not 8.)

I've already thought (very early this morning) that even the glitched price on this may be hardly better than buying at straight £1.81 last week in M - or even at £1.64 whatever pouncing on them at the right moment last year there. It's pay £5:eek: and then if it's the ones at £3 individual vs T at £2, is effectively only giving you £1 further off (£6 vs £4 instead of mbuy £5 vs £4). Pay £5:eek: - trouble is v. expensive price in the first place - and then £2.40 back - but, at £2.60 for two (£1.30 each) - really it's not too much better than Avs M at £1.64 at that brief point last year would have been (hopefully if that was picked up) or even just paying £1.81 straight in M itself last week (although quite a bit high for me - and I only just took them last week - they were very borderline at that price - I was even thinking whether or not to take the details) - it's not too much more, in the scheme of things, than £1.30. You are, of course, having to buy in twos in A whereas you could have paid £1.81 for just one in M (and thus paid less total money) last week.

After all, if you'd made a mistake - as everyone does from time to time - and thought £1 for the Mini Daffodil was alright and then seen it go down to 50p this week, you'd already have 'overpaid' by 50p there. People regularly "overpay" on some items by far more than that.

I'm not surprised that B&M might be much cheaper. Big supermarkets can sometimes be very expensive places to shop.
  • Just had a flurry of activity here. Had a chap from Hotpoint on the phone saying the replacement freezer would not be in for 4 weeks and he then promptly offered me a 250 litre hotpoint one instead. I mentioned it was smaller than my current one then he offered me a whirlpool one that is the same size as my current one so I have opted to go for that one.

Great news E, after all the hastle :)
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

  • Enterprise, I hope it all works out for you.

I had similar situation with a Whirlpool washer and Curry's - each passed responsibility to the other, Curry's were saying the problem was with Whirlpool as manufacturer and Whirlpool said to sort it out with Curry's as they supplied it and I went round in circles. Even spent an hour in Curry's while they phoned Whirlpool's call centre. Finally an engineer came out and sorted it, he grumbled the whole time. Got there in the end though. Sold it when I moved house - I didn't dare move the darn thing afterwards! New owners had no problems... :)

please can I ask did anyone save the L'Occitane offer from this morning and if so can they please bump or repost it

the search facility is not working for me  but I now it was before 12 this morning.

I was on my iphone, should really have done a snap of it. I did 2 application in 2 emails for myself and OH but there is nothing in my inbox - usually L'Occitane send you an email with a code

I was planning on a trip to Chester but without the L'Occitane offer it wont be worth the effort :(

I don't understand this new system, one Asda I use will only accept 1 APG, anything else it scans but spits out at the end and invalidates them.
Split my shopping into 3 lots last night so I could use 3 coupons.
The other one I use still accepts multiple APG's.

It's random to me. Though it does seem to be improving. Even then, though, I had one voucher that randomly wouldn't scan last week and then another shop in a different store where two of the vouchers were randomly voided off by the SS at the end, after I'd put my remaining cash in and was ready to make a dash for the exit - I had to scan the vouchers and receipts back through again before the shop was then completed.

It's nothing to do with total voucher amount, although any individual voucher of over £9.99 I gather has to be approved as needs the SA to type in the amount of the voucher.

Is msm out of date on Aldi prices? Are the top offers for Aldi showing, that include cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, potatoes and some mince pies, at 29p/39p prices, the items that msm collected instore around Christmas and the site is now very out of date on Aldi? Or are these offers still on in Aldi? TIA.

Following advice from here about stuff to go in the hen weekend goody bags, I had to go into town today so thought I'd nip to boots while I was there.

I went to the Clinique counter and said to her that I was recommended to use some of their moisturiser but didn't want to spend stupid money without being sure it was going to be suitable, and did they have any samples I could try.

Yes of course, she says. She then gets the tester pot and scoops some out into a teeny tiny little pot

Very helpful but not quite what I was looking for :rotfl:

Fairly sure they are out of date Savvy, sounds like some things that I saw just after Christmas, and those are not on the Super 6 at the moment.
