Silly as it may sound the old saying " better the devil you know " comes to mind .It is a firm DD Lala and her DH use and I feel confident using them which at my age is an important factor to Nannylala but thank-you for the suggestion E :A

As it is a firm you know then that is a good idea, Lala would not have put you onto them if they had been no good.

That is one of the ways we get business, we are good to our clients and we do not overcharge. A job we did yesterday for £90 was a simple job, but they had been quoted nearly £300 by someone else

I submitted my first ever tax return on Tuesday but am still getting emails and texts asking if I've done it - I've got a successful submission email from Tuesday but is it normal to keep getting reminder texts and emails?

Mine said I was due a nice little refund :)

Try being a chap having a pee standing up on a moving train:eek::eek::rotfl:
I do now pee stood up like a man nerf, with the added complication of having to insert a catheter into my belly button. I seem to be able to aim better than most men though! :D
I was just wondering why I had not sent the email to the support@hotpoint.co.uk address that is on their website. I just forwarded it to them and it bounced back saying that address was unknown. I think that is my answer.

I cannot put on here what I think of them at the moment, I think I would be banned.
Sorry for all the hassle you're going through enterprise, sounds like a proper pain in the bum. :(

    Morning all :)

Hope all those doing their tax returns manage to get done on time. This isn't meant to sound smug, so please don't take it that way, but I've never understood why people leave it until the last minute, particularly if they are due a refund. I do mine as soon as I have all the necessary information, which is usually sometime in June. This year I was due a small refund, which was in my bank account less than a week later. The money is far better employed in my bank account than the tax man's :D It's also much easier to get help if you need it if you do it earlier, when accountants and the tax office aren't run off their feet.

Normally I would share your method. This year OH has taken some of my allowance and he is waiting for the results of negotiations between his ex company and hmrc on the tax treatment! So I can't complete my return.

Which makes it sound very convoluted and devious, but all that happened was that one of the companies was sold and the people involved in the sale were given a tiny percentage of the sale, so there is a discussion with the tax people on how that should be treated.

I also watch flight tracker when one of mine is airborne. You have to keep telling yourself that flying is one of the safest ways to travel.

Yes. left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
