  • I was just wondering why I had not sent the email to the support@hotpoint.co.uk address that is on their website. I just forwarded it to them and it bounced back saying that address was unknown. I think that is my answer.

I cannot put on here what I think of them at the moment, I think I would be banned.

Good morning another cold and frostie one which seems the norm lately .Need to ring the Plumber and confirm I want them to go ahead after receiving their quote :eek:but needs must and am just grateful that funds permit me to be able to do so .

If the quote is detailed enough, have you tried calling another plumber and asking them to beat it?

  • I know I am getting paranoid now, but I am seriously concerned that Hotpoint is going to go down before I get my new freezer. The last time they submitted accounts to Companies House was 2011

I think these days Hotpoint is just a badge and they are actually owned by either Indesit or Whirlpool? Worth a check perhaps.

They are, but as they are still officially a company they still have to submit accounts, I think Indesit is an umbrella company.

Well, I have had a reply from Andy Street's office (John Lewis) and a senior member of the Technical Support Team will be in touch with me shortly. What shortly means I do not know.

Silly as it may sound the old saying " better the devil you know " comes to mind .It is a firm DD Lala and her DH use and I feel confident using them which at my age is an important factor to Nannylala but thank-you for the suggestion E :A

    UNTESTED

    Asda 6 for £25 wine.

    http://groceries.asda.com/promotion/2-for-pound350/ls87032

eg: Gallo White Grenache. £6.50 v £5.00 Tesco.
    APG £39 v £30 + 10%. plus fillers. Around £2.16 a bottle :)

    http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk/shopping/findproducts.aspx?query=gallo%20family%20vineyards

I bet all the people with a drink problem are working out how to get the wine as cheap as possible :beer::beer::D:D
