Belvoir have a comp to win a case of their new light range. Also they have a few comps running at the moment but I can't get links to work on iPad

    Good morning Elite :hello:

We have had snow but it's stopped and turned to rain now. No frost on cars either :T

I've not slept much last night, feel very tired but as I'm not driving it doesn't matter :)

Take care if you are heading out please and wrap up warm X
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

    Morning all.

    Happy birthday cjj.

Got to chase Dr for a prescription today. They've refused to prescribe lube which I need to insert my catheters.

Apparently they don't prescribe it as you can buy it over the counter. Except you can't, the stuff I need isn't a bog standard one but a sterile one, and I already tried buying it over the counter and was told it was a prescription only item. You'd think the fact it was ordered with 240 catheters might have given the game away but it seems not. :o

I seem to be on the phone to my drs pretty much every day for one reason or another, they must be sick of me. :(

It's their job to provide you with the correct equipment, so just keep telling them until they do it. :)

I will. I'm doing it all via phone at the minute as don't really want to have to book an appointment. However, not got that many sachets left that the hospital sent me home with, so need to get it sorted today.

    Happy Birtday cjj

Ladyshopper keep onto them if they did there job right the first time you woudnt be on the phone
Doctors are very keen to keep their expenditure down ... i am sure they must be on a promise of a bonus to keep their overall costs to a minimum .... which i think is wrong as they are making decisions with the cheapest drug in mind instead of what is the best product on the market for patients

And instead of lottery going to arts and farts it should be used to bring our NHS up the ranks to first place in the world ..as it used to be
And after that has been achieved lottery money should be used to eliminate all the waiting lists so that in theory people would only have to wait 2 weeks to see consultants ...just my opinion then they can use lottery money on arts and farts
