He's usually a very sociable and happy boy. Today's behaviour is not like him at all. Am hoping he's just feeling a bit under the weather.
Either that or DH has freaked him out. I've had a few long coughing fits lately where I've almost been sick and then needed my inhaler straight away. Came down at the weekend to find DH teaching the boys about how to call an ambulance if mummy is 'lying down and won't wake up'
There is your answer logie, he will get over it after a few mummy hug sessions so don't worry XThere's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I got a terse message back saying neither set of parents had sent engagement cards
OMG I did not realise we were supposed to, why did no one tell me this - this is our first time of doing this - having a daughter get engaged and we really have no idea what the rules and regulations are and what we are supposed to be doing and not doing and trying not to put our size 9 hobnails in and get it all wrong ...
so hopefully winning the wedding planner for them will make amends - or will she think its cheap and nasty ...deep sigh
Different families do different things. It's 12 years ago now and I didn't buy DD an engagement card, but I do remember going into my study and writing a rather large cheque which is perhaps why any lack of card was never ever mentioned:rotfl:
Having said that, I only had the one. So whatever you do presumably will have to be repeated with all the others in turn?
Send the planner, with a card, perhaps? It's certainly a nice item, well done.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Can try and send you a pic if it helps.
What are these chests and where do I find them? I'm guessing they are ios only, but I can't see them.
It just popped up on screen after I played and beat, yes I beat a level :j:j I didn't go looking for it but I am playing on my iPad , would that make a difference? I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest :eek:There's no place like home

thank u.
I'm in store now and the multi is showing on the packets and on the sel 2 for £7 so does this mean it wont work for me please?
Hi
I've just come from my local and the turkey mince was sold out, but noticed the one aalank mentioned. It's 500g as well...£4 and 2 for £7.......it's called very lean turkey mince. The £2.45 one is just lean turkey mince.
Hope that makes sense. I did a cc and they gave me 4 of the 250g as substitutes as they didn't have any of the £2.45 one :j0 -
Talking of odd shaped wine bottles, the JP Chenet ones are wonky necked. I have matching wonky stemmed glasses
It's very amusing to serve a drink in one to the unsuspecting, especially if they've had a few already  :rotfl:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Some of the £1 plants in M can often be found on much cheaper store-specific prices. Varies by store and from time to time. I think I found a Pot Mum in Eastwood, Nottinghamshire, at 19p and, I think, some other plants (though not quite as good as 19p) on a bit of reduction in Coalville, Leicestershire. Do look in your stores from time to time though as you can get different ones at much cheaper than £1!0

Yes that is the first thing we did as well, transferred a large sum across as soon as we heard but it seems we still missed out on something vital
(no I don't know if BFs family also did a money transfer but she said they also sent no card - they were staying with them for most of Christmas)
as you say we have to do the exact same for all 3 of ours when the time comes so I have to try and do everything correct this time ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
When ds3 was got engaged I thought I'd do a good thing and started entering wedding comps
. There was one company that kept pestering me with emails even though I hadn't won. I had to block them in the end  :rotfl: :rotfl:
So mhoc, take heed and be prepared
thanks for this warning.
Mostly I do them in my name so I can fend off the attentions of over bearing companies
I am only sending her links for firms that look legit but the trouble is your details get passed along the line and then the less legit ones start emailing and ringing etc ...“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. M Holly & Berry Sprinkles (70g) have gone down to 25p, if you can find them. May be in the store just down the road from you but as usual probably not likely. Alternatively, you could have one (or even more?) of several Dr. Oetker cake decorations that are on 'low' prices in various M stores - I've been missing loads!:rotfl:
Or, like half of people, probably, you have none of them at all: neither the Holly & Berry, nor the other M own label, nor any of the Dr. Oetker:(. Someone has at least one of one of them!:) Whose luck is in?:D
I bet an incomplete list will go onto the list!:rotfl: I still haven't found them all!:rotfl::rotfl:
If you do find one that's not mentioned on my list, of course there is no harm in letting me know, before I get to your store:D(:rotfl:). TIA.:)0
