Afternoon
I have a very clingy 3 year old today. Not sure what's wrong with him. It started with him not wanting to go to preschool this morning. We've never had tears at drop off before and he started back in September. Then my sister came over at lunchtime to babysit whilst I was going to go out but he was literally crying when I went up to the looSo we're just having a cuddly afternoon instead. Weather is awful at the moment (right on cue for normal school run) Thankfully DS1 at afterschool football club until 4.30 so hopefully the rain will settle by then
Some children do seem to go through a clingy phase logie, maybe that's what it is. Although having said that I hope it isn't . All my 4 were great, never clingy, but one of my grandchildren  omg, if her dad even left the room she would be crying and hanging onto his legs :cool:on Sunday when we were talking to eldest child she asked if I would look out for wedding themed comps for her (and inparticular anything to do with York) - I really just need to do competitions with big cash prizes :rotfl:
would you believe its been 2 weeks already since they got engaged
Yesterday afternoon I made a start on looking for some, did a few and sent her a few links for nice ones she might also want to do herself
I had a message from a friend this afternoon to say to check facebook and already I've won a useful planner for her - this is it
https://www.thepaperbirdcompany.co.uk/ourshop/prod_4228962-Fiori-Garland-Wedding-Planner.html
Well done mhoc, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you or she or even better both of you are lucky. As long as you both don't win the same prize  :rotfl::rotfl:
There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

I was in the dog house this morning though.
as I was doing the post Christmas clear up and I found eldest childs Christmas card still on the mantle piece in its envelope - I'd forgotten to give it to her over Christmas
It was one I had specially chosen with a water colour picture of the Thames and Tower Bridge on the front - she has been working in London now for 2 years close to there and for 6 months she was in hotels over looking the bridge.
so I sent an apology message with a photo and said I would keep the card now for next year
I got a terse message back saying neither set of parents had sent engagement cards
OMG I did not realise we were supposed to, why did no one tell me this - this is our first time of doing this - having a daughter get engaged and we really have no idea what the rules and regulations are and what we are supposed to be doing and not doing and trying not to put our size 9 hobnails in and get it all wrong ...
so hopefully winning the wedding planner for them will make amends - or will she think its cheap and nasty ...deep sigh“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

that is exactly the sort of mad thing that happens to us :rotfl:“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

. There was one company that kept pestering me with emails even though I hadn't won. I had to block them in the end  :rotfl: :rotfl:

He's usually a very sociable and happy boy. Today's behaviour is not like him at all. Am hoping he's just feeling a bit under the weather.
Either that or DH has freaked him out. I've had a few long coughing fits lately where I've almost been sick and then needed my inhaler straight away. Came down at the weekend to find DH teaching the boys about how to call an ambulance if mummy is 'lying down and won't wake up'♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -

No, I tried it a few days ago. Total has to be £30 after deductions for it to work. Only tried the once.0 -
