  • What has the ASA got to do with it?

I just emailed lastminute-transfer at 10.19am and and got a reply back at 10.25am.

No they do not offer a price match.

we are a couple and in the past we used the coach transfer from Lanzarote Airport to Playa Blanca. Last time there was an inordinate number of drops offs and it took an age. We are therefore looking for a speedy mini bus return transfer with a minimal number of drops off at a reasonable cost. I believe there are some for under 30 Euros for the 2 of us. Any suggestions please.
Was that the Linea 61 public bus service? I use that and it only costs about €4 each way.

I have used Holiday Taxis which only had 2 drop offs (maximum of 4) and had no problems and could recommend. It cost the 2 of us between 22 and 23 euros in total for the trips from the airport and a return 7 days later. I would agree with most other contributors that if a company does not respond to an E Mail even with a negative answer then their customer service must be questionable.

And another one here. Next month I'm paying £40.76 for a week, around 30% less than I paid with them for the same week last year.

Because I save on the shuttle bus transfer to PDC, I'm probably paying just £30 for a week. Your relative savings* would be more, going to PB!

    * Obviously the exchange rate has moved unfavourably since I booked last July.
  • We don't nowadays feel comfortable about driving abroad so we always use a transfer service from the airport to the resort. We have learn in general to avoid the tour companies transfer service and this usually takes an age with numerous drop offs. We always look for what is know as "Speedy Transfers" which in the main is a maximum of 4 stops. As far as Playa Blanca is concerned we have used both Holiday taxis and LastMinute transfers and have both as equally efficient. So we suggest you look at the best deal for the time you are travelling.there are other companies offering this service but we cannot comment as we have not used them There have been several opinions on this subject and you should draw your own conclusions taking into account the feedback from different people. Good Luck.

We have always used Holiday Taxis for a Speedy transfers. We have never had a problem with this company and they are a lot cheaper than Last minute transfers. com
  • Holiday Taxis are only a booking agent, as are Holiday Transfers. They don't provide transfers so the standard of the transfer is down to whichever supplier they book the transfers with.
