Message for Lee-Social Media Comms-Vodafone UK

I'm tired of trying to get through to customer services..currently 50 mins on hold...regarding a bill problem ie being overcharged for data. And despite actually speaking to two people previously nothing has been done.

I'm sick of listening to rubbish music and being lied too.

Please can you send me a link to Social Escalations?

Thank you.

Why should we have to resort to contacting Vodafone through a third party website (here) ??

If they got their act together and gave customers anywhere near a reasonable service through their own channels it shouldn't be needed.

If it's any consolation Vodafone added a new phantom line to my account three months ago (which they are happily charging for) and I'm still no closer to getting it resolved.

    1) You shouldn't, but you do.

    2) They never will, so it is.

Actually mobilej, I contacted Lee through here when I joined Vodafone from Orange (what a mistake that was) regarding numerous problems I had and he was just as useless as the rest of them.

Regarding my latest problems.....apparently they are going to phone me back ! Ha ha... We know THAT'S not going to happen ! I'll not bother with the ombudsman either, a letter before action first, if no response Northampton Court it is.

My contract with Vodafone is up in November and it can't come soon enough. Never again.

Has anyone got an address (or advise) which is the best address to serve legal papers on Vodafone ?

There are a number of addresses to use on the Vodafone website like this:

    http://www.vodafone.co.uk/vodafone-uk/forms/complaints/index.htm

Or you could just contact Ofcom, Ombudsman, or Citizen's Advice, etc to ask for a more appropriate address.

Thanks for keeping this thread alive.

I'm going to try phoning again tonight. If I can't get through and Lee doesn't respond I'll wait till the next bill and go into my nearest Vodafone shop.

The registered office - should be easy to find on the website or bills etc.
  • I haven't been able to access my account for months & now that I have at long last. I have found two contracts that I know nothing about. When I complained they investigated, which was great except they didn't tell me the result and was told via the chat line that they never give the results and of course no action was taken. Two letters later without a response I am totally frustrated. Letter 3 will go tomorrow asking for a deadlock letter. Of course I don't expect a response. At least I now know that my problem is not unique and can say so when I take it further.

Make sure you send them recorded delivery and keep a copy for yourself.

Also, it may be worth using the Vodafone WRT process on this forum (Vodafone Complaints thread) to engage them also for getting a deadlock letter.
