The Sunday Times recently did a test on freeview boxes and roundly berated the "Supermarket specials".
I bought an Alba box 2 years ago from Tesco and although it works, it is pretty poor - slow channel selection response, occasional lock up, and poor signal channels cause it to go into permanent filcker mode only cured by a reboot.
So - have we moved on, or is this new offering not just cheap, but also that other word always associated with cheap - nasty......
