Peace Electronics

Just want people to be aware to avoid this seller. I bought a replacement laptop charger from Peace Electronics. They claimed it was genuine but it ended up exploding within four weeks so I doubt that was the case. I asked for a refund, was refused, so left negative feedback and the next day eBay had removed it. I demanded to know why and was told they couldn't tell me why for 'privacy reasons'. Whole site is nothing but scam artists and eBay helps them keep high feedback scores because it makes them money.

Within 30 days you could have opened an ebay case and you should have got a refund. After that (up to 6 months) you should be able to get a refund through Paypal.

Sometimes (although less often than they used to) ebay do remove feedback so you have to be careful about the way you word certain things.

Only Peace Electronics I found (ebay search turned up nothing) is one with a few hundred feedback and a rating of 98.7%. They have good star ratings though and I wouldn't call that a high feedback score.

That's the one I found. I tried searching on ebay for PeaceElectronics and close matches but it still didn't find them or anyone else which is a bit odd.

You dont say exactly what you put in the feedback - and you should definately have been given a refund.

What you cannot say is that because it failed within a month it must be a fake

If you believe the charger to have been unsafe then you should contact Trading Standards.
Your feedback may have been removed for any of a number of reasons.

It's the "ltd" on the end that Ebay's search fails to recognise. I found them via a Google search.

There are many genuine sellers. Not sure why you've concluded that based on one seller, especially as it appears you didn't go through the official process of getting a refund (something you may still be able to do!). You had one bad experience, it doesn't mean the whole site is bad.

Same. ltd on the end should surely count as a close match though. It is ebay though! lol
