French air traffic on strike

in Flight delay compensation
I was delayed at Cardiff airport flying to Alicante on 9/04/2015 the delay was for 4 hours because the French air traffic control was on strike the Airline that I flew with was Vueling can I claim compensation.

    Nope.

    Airtraffic control strikes are beyond the control of the airline so they arent responsible for the delay
