I switched from BG to sainsburys on the 27th! Just in time! Obviously be leaving in 12 months though.0

I checked Sainsburys energy dual fuel with Ukpower.co.uk two or three days ago and it was way cheaper than any BG tariff. It was so good it was slightly over the MSE BG Collective Dec 2016..eg electric was 8.3 p/kwhr, gas 3.07 p/kwhr, same dsc of 25 p. Thats South Yorks area..Maybe MSE has got it wrong or Ukpower has or it was the last day of a bargain tariff.
If BG have now pulled the plug on Sainsburys Energy there is no point in them staying in existance.0 -
Business in 'not wanting to reduce profit' shocker.0

On the plus side, the fewer people who know how to get cheaper energy, the better for those who do.
If everyone can easily access cheaper energy then all energy prices will be essentially the same. Then, not even the few who can be bothered to look will get any benefit.
Selfish but practical.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.0 -
you must be mad to ever consider using BG as your supplier. they have been rip off merchants for years. the sainsburys loophole was a great little trick.
now they've spat their dummy out on ofgem's rules and scrapped sainsburys cheaper prices they really do show us all what they are really interested in. £££££PROFITS£££££
in the past 4 years i've helped switched about 8 friend or family away from them and saved them upwards of £30000 -
