Morning everyone!
I came close to achieving my list yesterday, but the reduced stuff wasn't as good as normal at the local shop so I didn't get it all. I did grab some 25p bacon and 19p bread though :money: Annoyingly, I came home from donating blood last night to find that my OH had eaten all of the hotpot that was meant to feed us both :rotfl: so I used up some leftover cottage pie from the freezer for my tea instead.
As for today:Take the baby to the free entertainer that's on at the local playcentre (free entry until he's 12 months old so completely free)
Resist buying lunch and drinks at the playcentre - take a pack-up for the baby and eat lots before I go so I'm not tempted.
Aim for a NSD. No essential spending today.
Walk the dogs somewhere nice this afternoon with free parking.
Start researching new hoovers since ours set itself on fire yesterday :eek::(
All meals from stores. Chilli for tea tonight that I made yesterday.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Morning all!
Thanks to ccl for starting us off
SPL - had to laugh about the cleaver comment!
Was very good last night and organised today's lunch. Did some crochet, just a quiet one really.
Vodafone app shows that bill has apparently been paid. Money has not left the account as yet - we wait with bated breath...
Today's list:- B/L/D from stores. (fish day apparently! Potato and smoked trout salad for lunch and tuna pasta bake for tea!)
- Charge phone in work
- Check online banking and reconcile spreadsheet. Still need to check with OH about amounts. Probably will do tonight
- Give OH's fitbit to a friend at work. If she likes it, she's passing me £30 for it.
- Lent book to a friend. Left a post-it note with my name on inside to make sure it comes back!
- Pay for crossfit. Def not MSE but keeps me fit and healthy and encourages me to eat well. Which means we spend less money on food!
- Crossfit at lunchtime
- Crochet later
Have a good one all

Good morning everyone and thank you all for your excellent moneysaving ideas and fun. It's really motivating. :j
My mother left at ridiculous o'clock this morning to get back down the road, so we are free to do whatever we like to day. In the cold rain.
The Smalls are still off college, school and nursery and I'd like to take them out of the house somewhere but with a wheelchair to consider in the rain it would need to be somewhere indoors and I'm struggling to think of somewhere which would be no money and entertaining for the 20 year old and the 4 year old...
Today:Checked the bank already - not obsessed nor nothing...
:T Had a £10 refund from the phone people for disrupted service
:)The washing is already on at the lowest temperature there is - I don't think that the electricity is any cheaper on an evening. Maybe that's a Scottish thing?Taking the huge number of books back to the library today. I used to buy lots but made friends with my lovely librarian and she buys them for me instead!
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Hi folks,
Posting in between bites of my wrap! Living the dream.
Feeling a bit blue today....no idea why, decided to have a ‘quiet day’ at work.....it is not helped by disrupted sleep – head down = keeping my dignity intact
Today’s list
• Had to buy breakfast at work – had money left over from yesterday
• Free coffee via loyalty card (had 6 completed cards)
• Didn’t need to wash my hair this morning
• Back on the pills to reduce PCOS symptoms (to make me feel better) – pre paid prescriptions so it is still cheap
• Off to Zumba after work – using gym membership....another thing to do to make me feel better about myself
• Have pre-warned my friend that I will be a hot sweaty mess due to zumba....she understands
• Will take own brand strong ibuprofen as I will ache due to Zumba
• Park in town after 5pm for cheap parking
• Spend today’s £1 on parking for above
• Will hang up gym wear as I cannot wash it at the moment (washing machine died Christmas Eve)
• While I am in town I may treat myself to a coffee as I have got enough ‘stars’
• Checked online banking – a small bit of interest has been paid
• Transferred interest to credit card
• Checked investment and re-invested
• Charging phone via PC
• Read papers online
• Lunch & dinner from stores
• Try to get over 7,000 steps to get bounts points....saving up for Christmas vouchers (free present for hubster)
Think that is about it for me
