Spotted early signs of damp in my room. What shall I do?

Be careful with using mould sprays on paint as they will probably discolour the paint. Best dilute some bleech. Put on some gloves and wipe the mould off. Perhaps repaint the undercoat with anti-damp paint if you are afraid of the mould reappearing.
Fix the guttering, ventilate the room often and the mould will stay away.
Check the back of your wardrobes for mould as well and air them regularly too.
It may be worth getting a moisture absorber for the next few months although I'd say with the gutter fixed and the having the room ventilated often your problem will be gone.0 -
Who do I call to fix the guttering guys?
And who can fix the condensation?
Also I open the windows everyday now just as you guys said.0 -

A local handyman should be able to do it - much cheaper than a guttering/soffits type firm.
If you don't know anyone can you ask neighbours, friends?0 -
A general builder or a plasterer/renderer will be able to do it too.0
