Going through a certain link works, but can't post the link because I haven't made enough posts... Just go to main HSBC website, add "s" before the colon for secure protocol and add ".saas." between www & hsbc in the url then click on "Log on" in the upper right corner. Thanks Chaykin, that worked for me
https://www.saas.hsbc.co.uk - then click log on
or try this one - https://www2.security.hsbc.co.uk/gsa/SaaS30Resource/
Thanks, the first link worked fine and seems perfectly secure.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
So why does it still say unavailable on the link I normally use ? Very odd.0

If anybody using the alternative link above CANNOT log in....
Its telling me I'm using incorrect security details even though I know I'm not....whether I try to log in with or without secure key.
Anyone else still unable to log in?0 -
Everybody is still unable to use online banking. To faff about with the URL to "break in" is quite foolish.
The iOS app is working albeit a bit slow.0 -
I can log in fine using secure key on this link - https://www.saas.hsbc.co.uk/0

Yes, so can I. It seems that the old URLs are still not working. Different servers perhaps, but it is secure ???
BBC reporting it as on-going.

"Britain's biggest bank, HSBC, is still trying to repair its online banking system, which has failed for the second day running.
The personal banking website is not allowing customers to log on, while business accounts are running slowly."... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
We left HSBC, including their Oremier Credit Card after them halving the points reward. However, I would not try to access them via a devious link provided by someone I don't know on the Internet.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
Words, words, they're all we have to go by!.

The link is sound ... https and correct domain name and it gets you into your account. If you are worried about the 'saas' (software as a service) component in the URL, HSBC have been using this for some time.... @people thinking the alternative link I provided is not safe:
As the Internet Banking is now working OK go to the standard HSBC homepage (without the "saas"), log-in normally and once you can see your accounts see what's in your browser's address bar...
BTW Online Banking through URL with the "saas" worked all the time yesterday & today, no outage at all, so remember in case of any potential future problems. ;-)0
