Block the number. Wait for them to write by post if they ever do. Only correspond by post.
Why do people act like this? No evidence to suggest that the call is a nuisance one and people talk about blocking numbers and waiting for letters to arrive in the post (hopefully not a CCJ letter for ignoring a debt!).
Baffles me why someone wouldn't rather pick up the phone and say "What do you want?" to determine whether the call is a nuisance one or legitimate. It doesn't get much simpler than that...0 -

They are asking to speak to the OP's Dad specifically so as they are a debt company, draw your own conclusion.
I agree with the posters advising that the OP talk to his Dad about any debt he may have.
Sticking his head in the sand isn't going to do him any good in the long-term.0 -
